Bishop Fellay: A Summary of Recent Events, SSPX-Rome
12-28-12 Ontario, Canada
Bishop Bernard Fellay, Superior General of the SSPX, gives a sermon on
recent events between the SSPX and Rome.
The conference was given on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Our Lady of
Mount Carmel in New Hamburg, Ontario, Canada.
The sermon was given in church, which prevented any questions from
being asked by the Faithful. Unfortunately, he leaves many questions
unanswered:
Was an apology given for his condescending response to the
other 3 SSPX Bishops, who were justifiably concerned?
For him to make an apology he would have to be willing to admit that
what he had done was offensive to someone. But he never admits to
having done anything wrong. Can you imagine what it must be like to
be his confessor?
Kyrie eleison.
The juxtaposition of
prideful arrogance and a reputation for
'humility' is
quite bewildering. It's akin to Obama's ability to be re-elected in the face
of his conspicuous sneering contempt for everything American.
There is a laundry list of condescension, of which his well-known response
to 'the three' is at the top, of course.
Was Bishop Williamson re-instated in the Society?
Now that's a good one. You heard it here first. Send cards and letters
to Menzingen, meekly requesting +W's reinstatement! How many will it
take? A thousand? Ten thousand? A hundred thousand? No problem...
Did Bishop Fellay admit that he changed the official SSPX stance
toward a "practical agreement" with Rome?
Now we're getting into the
sticky nitty gritty.
This could well explain all the erstwhile secrecy
in spades....................
What better explanation could there
be, than a clandestine desire to
obfuscate one's nefarious mission to close this interminable 'chapter' of
the Society's Most Painful Exile from the marvelous Shangri-La of Ordinary
Jurisdiction? For
IF he were to
admit he had changed the official SSPX
stance toward a "practical and impossible agreement with apostate
Rome,"
THEN he would have to
give up on his nefarious mission to close
this interminable 'chapter' of the Society's Most Painful Exile, and
THEN,
what would he do with all that
pent-up frustration latent and due to
the fact of his still-unrequited clandestine desire to obfuscate same?
No, it's far simpler, far easier --> to go around enforcing SILENCE on
anyone and everyone who knows anything at all! Yeah, that's the ticket!
Oh, which would also explain why
I Accuse the Council! has conspicuously
been allowed to go out of print and why there are no plans to reprint it
and why nobody in any position of knowledge on this anomaly of right
reason and normal merchandising policy has anything definitive to say
about it: "Because it's a matter of intelligence." That's the reason that
Tod Tamberg gave me on the phone in April of 1998 when The Tidings
refused to print the story of the ritual Masonic assassination of Fr. Alfred
Joseph Kunz in Dane, Wisconsin, but since it applies perfectly here, it
seemed to be appropriate, since the wiles of satan span the centuries and
10 "Nothing under the sun is new, neither is any man able to say: Behold
this is new: for it hath already gone before in the ages that were before
us" (Eccl. i).
But not to worry: we have the online version to read and study with all
the power of electronic search engines and retrieval systems. The mere
thought that we are using the Internet to expose their dark and iniquitous
machinations must keep the Menzingen-denizens awake at night.
HAHAHAHAHA
Did Bishop Fellay admit that most if not all "Internet Rumors"
turned out to be 100% true?
You do realize that he is hoping, and expecting, really, that
you and I will
simply forget about all the so-called Internet rumors that turned out to
be true. If he were a gangster from the Bronx he could be more honest...
For then he could just yell in your face:
FUGGEDDABOUDIT!!But he's not, and you can be sure that +Fellay isn't going to have Angelus
Press publish a low-cost booklet compiling the Internet-rumors-vindicated,
any more than he would
make it a supplement to a reprint edition of:
Msgr. Lefebvre: "I Accuse the Council!" - with the all-new supplement -
Msgr. Fellay: "I Accuse the Rumors!"Naaaah. Forget it. In his own words, "Big fight: Council! No, Rumors!
No, Council! No. Rumors! No, Council! No, Rumors! No, Council! No, ......"
Think of it as the
hermeneutic of discontinuity..... HAHAHAHAHA
In the meantime, we do have his most poignant observation from the
depths of His Mushy-Mindness:
I frankly, personally, I don’t think that these [this is] possible until the
head is in our favor. Because the fight is too, too heavy. And the head,
that means the Pope, must be absolutely convinced of the necessity of
Tradition. The fight might continue in the Church, but as long as we don’t
have that, I don’t see really any concrete, serious possibility to go ahead,
because it’s too dangerous, too dangerous. We have many enemies,
many enemies. But look and that’s very interesting. Who, during
that time, was the most opposed that the Church would recognize the
Society? The ENEMIES of the Church. The Jєωs, the Masons, the
[Modernists]! The most opposed that the Society would be recognized
as a Catholic: the ENEMIES of the Church! Interesting, isn’t it?
Hey, speaking of Internet rumors: two can tango in this game!
Make no mistake about it:
Anyone who opposes the "practical and
impossible agreement with apostate Rome"
is an ENEMY OF THE CHURCH!!
When it comes to Internet rumors,
Bishop Fellay should definitely get the
gold medal! How can anyone in their
right mind compete with that one??
That's very interesting? Isn't it?? As Bishop Fellay is apparently un-repentant for his own role in this
Crisis, it would appear that the Crisis in the SSPX will continue for some time.
I really can't help but laugh at this Mexican stand-off going on. Maybe
"pablo" could shed a little light on this because he's "the Mexican" around
here.
Fellay staunchly clings to his subjective fantasy that the "crisis" in the
Church is something that he can solve by his achieving recognition from
NewRome for the Society. In fact, not infrequently it appears that to him,
the 'crisis' in regards to the Society is one and the same with the fact that
this pie-in-the-sky 'recognition' has not yet been achieved!
But along comes Matthew, with his disarming charm and Williamsoninan
wit, saying that +Fellay is unrepentant for having contributed to this
Crisis, and consequently the Crisis in the SSPX will continue for some
time!
In other words, the very word, "Crisis," has a different meaning to +Fellay
than it does to the rest us. For him,
I may say, it is a 'crisis' that the Society
is still not regularized -- after 40 years! Unbelievable! Isn't that interesting?
Isn't it?? [/sarcasm]
Meanwhile, back at the Ranch, right-minded clerics can calmly sit at the
'Round Table' and have a reasoned conversation without having to define
that the Crisis in the Church is exemplified by the narrow-mindedness of
the Superior General, for his obstinate incapacity, his invincible penchant
to deny that
apostate Rome is a snake pit of venom, a sewer of all heresy,
a proverbial pit of perdition where the blind superior is about to lead the
blind faithful forthwith into which they would fall! I have found a most apt
fact of history to illustrate this problem, but sorry, I don't have any pictures
to display. Maybe Incredulous or AntiFellayism can find one...
Hold on to your seats. This could be one helluva ride for some of you...
In Latin, lilium -(i)i is a neuter noun of the second declension which, in
botanical terms is a plant, a lily, which in Christian symbolism stands for
virginity, purity, and when combined with cooperation with God's grace,
effects great holiness, and the Roman virgin martyrs in their physical
defenselessness, were objectively in the order of grace, more powerful
than ancient Roman paganism. But in Rome of that age,
lilium had
a military connotation as well. For in the field of battle, where lilies were
most rare, to be sure, to encounter
lilium, or worse, for
a soldier
incidere in lilium was a terrible thing, because A)
incidere in means to fall
headlong into something, and B)
lilium is a trench lined with sharp spikes.
I'll leave you to put A and B together..................
