I think I figured it out.  Dugin has Bishop Williamson confused with the Anglican "Archbishop" of Cantebury at the time, Rowan Williams, who did officiate at Princess Diana's funeral and was in fact kindof her spiritual advisor.

Oh well, "Putin's Brain" appears to be misfiring.

Part of an interview from November:

+Williamson says he does not know Dugin a little after the 4:00 mark

As an aside, he also directly responded to the Rosicrucian accusation nonsense at around 6:15. I know I've seen that floated around here before

I wonder who these nutjobs are who are obsessed with Dugin.  We had one or two of them here.  I cited an article about this absurd allegation of Dugin being "Putin's Brain", where Putin had never actually met the guy, much less did he take direction from Dugin's relatively abstract ideologies.

Some people have nothing better to do than to make stuff up, including the Bishop Williamson Rosicrucian nonsense.  Rose + Cross = Rosicrucian.  Well, so, St. Therese was a Rosicrucian too!

I'm stunned, however, by how Dugin wouldn't know who officiated at the funeral of his own daughter.

:laugh1: Putin's Russia is certainly on a good path following the man's ideas. He seems very rigorous about his sources.

Well, the simple fact is that they're not.  That's just anti-Putin propaganda.  Putin and Dugin have never been seen together, nor do they really know one another, and Putin has denied being at all influenced by Dugin.
