  • There are so many threads about what's going on in Boston or Boston affiliated areas. Is there anywhere near this much drama and confusion in other places? I am sure other parishes and missions aren't perfect and I am not asking them to air all their dirty laundry, but in general it seems that other locations are peacefully going about their business, no?

No, you're on to something here. But you do have to keep in mind that  sometimes there is drama that you didn't bring or cause, that you're not responsible for. A controversial person is not always guilty of something.

We oppose the modern world, and that brings controversy. We oppose Vatican II, and that causes strife in our families. "The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against his father, the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother, the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law." (Luke 12:53).

What we should avoid if possible are "drama queens" who seem to bring chaos, drama and disaster everywhere they go. People who are overly emotional, erratic, irrational, disorganized, and unstable by nature and THEY THEMSELVES are the cause of the drama which surrounds them.

Bishop Williamson is highly controversial. But why? It's what he preaches. He preaches on controversial, hot-button topics by choice. He's a truth-teller. He's not a drama queen.

For example, in CT there is a lot of controversy because Ridgefield is failing. The SSPX brought in a Novus Ordo Monsignor, who was not conditionally re-ordained. Many have left Ridgefield for the Novus Ordo/Indult as well as the local sedevacantists, and some have left for Fr. Zendejas' chapel. However, all of the SSPX ire has been directed at Fr. Zendejas there. And this is one of the chapels that has become so desperate and morally bankrupt as to threaten Catholics with withholding of sacraments. There is a lot of fighting among CT Traditional Catholics, because those at Ridgefield are feeling the effects of Fr. Zendejas being so nearby. They get really upset when they have "competition". And people get very emotional when children are involved, which they are. Many children who were schoolmates and friends now go to 2 different schools (Ridgefield, and Fr. Zendejas' school he started there). CT has been described as a "volcano".

But here is my point: Yes, there is some drama there in CT, but whose fault is it? I'd say Bishop Fellay, Fr. Pfluger, and the rest of the pro-Conciliar-Rome cabal who started this crisis in the SSPX. Just like +Lefebvre wasn't responsible for the drama that surrounded him. If it weren't for Vatican II and its aftermath, he would have been just another faithful Archbishop of the Catholic Church! Likewise, if it weren't for the accordistas within the SSPX at the highest levels, Fr. Zendejas would have been just another good SSPX priest, specializing in Ignatian retreats and helping people keep the Faith.

Remember the quote from St. Paul:
    Romans 12:18
If it be possible, as much as is in you, have peace with all men.

Note the condition: IF it is possible. For example, we can't be at peace with Freemasons, or radical Islamists who want us dead. Furthermore, we should be waging open war against them. But whenever it's up to us, we should choose peace. Fr. Zendejas doesn't pick fights or wage war against Fr. Pfeiffer. He only operates on the defensive in his regard. He lets Fr. Pfeiffer alone to do his thing. Fr. Pfeiffer (and/or Pablo), meanwhile, doesn't return the favor.

Fr. Zendejas left the SSPX like any other Resistance priest, for the same reasons. What will he do now? Well, naturally, he went to the two places where he knew people, where he could meet with people in person and talk to them/convince them, etc. Places where he's a known quantity, where he has a reputation and where he's most trusted. He built up Ridgefield to what it was, over a period of years (15?) and then was transferred to Houston, TX for about 5 years. Surprise! That's where he's operating today. He recently started saying Mass in Philadelphia. But to go many other places, he's going to need more priest helpers. He doesn't believe in the "Mass every 6 weeks for 25 places nationwide" thing.
