  • It is strange how several very influential laypeople have been very mindful to seem wholly ambiguous as to what they feel is the best for their and their families' souls.  Political questions can be debated internally; complex theological issues are often the cause of internal turmoil for years.  But, this issue is on a simpler level.  What is best for our souls and the souls of our children?  Is it Fellay's intention of that of the 3 holy Bishops?  I don't see how that many influential laypeople can manage to have that amazingly evenly split conscience on this.  We, who do not have to worry about bridges to burn, are apparently more able to decide which cup contains poison and which not, rather than thinking we can continue to feed ourselves and our families both cups.

Not all of these influential laypeople have been perpetually on the fence.  Thankfully, TFP has been unswervingly solid on what they believe is best for their souls.  They realize that, in the battle for the souls of their children, strict impartiality doesn't have an Indulgence attached to it.

As in the wake of Vatican II, we have 2 paths.  One path is going to harm souls and one is going to assist them.  I, for one, cannot imagine how it is going to help my children's souls to give a portion of my weekly donations to pay for pedophiles' legal teams to stonewall their victims and marketers to more effectively sell off beautiful old churches to pay court-imposed damages.  I cannot imagine how it is going to help my children's souls to have their priests not be allowed to open parishes in cities where they might find themselves in in their last hours by some accident, because the local Diocesan Bishop didn't give approval.  I cannot imagine how it is going to help my children's souls to no longer hear about the evils of Vatican II and the Novus Ordo.  On the flipside, we don't have to wonder how it is going to help our children's souls to continue on as we have.  We KNOW this.  We experience it every day.  We see it when our sons become priests, monks and brothers, and when our daughters become religious sisters.  We see it when our children grow up and marry other traditional Catholics and form new traditional Catholic families.  We see it when our elderly die with the Sacraments wherever they may be, for their priests are not limited as to where they can go by maniac ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ false prelates.

So, again, I ask of these well-known, well-respected laypeople, for all your education and all your intelligence, do you truly not have an opinion about what is best for your children's souls?

Truly, as His Lordship says, Kyrie Eleison!
