  • So, Fr. Peter Scott and Fr. Kimball are both going to Africa?  It figures.

Though they have both been silenced in some way, the remoteness of Africa can give to them some time to think and prepare them, like a hermit in the desert, to come out strong again.

Far away places have always been the M.O. for Menzingen.  That would be a good sign that these priests are going.

Remember, the internet is just a short distance away for if or when they will finally come out fighting like Frs. Chazal and Pfeiffer did in the far away place of India.

So long as God will come out first, all is well.

  • Is any one here from Poland to know what is happening with Fr. John Jenkins, an American priest, who has been stationed in Poland for a few years now?

And what position he has taken in all of this?

And what position he has taken in all of this?

Fr. Jenkins, who at one time had been in Ridgefield, visited Ridgefield last fall
(2012). He was adamant that "there is no deal" ;" You are listening to rumors on the internet!", " Bishop Fellay is not making a deal with Rome!" He could not explain at all the dealings with GREC, he would not explain at all the doctrinal declaration--- all he knew was that there was no deal-- so everybody please go back to sleep. He also revealed that they were working amongst the Novus Ordo in Poland to bring the groups closer!-- The same initiative, it seems, that Bp. Fellay had going on in France and Belgium, and Father Pflugger was pushing heavily in the Asian district, with Fr. Couture, Fr Chazal and Fr. Pfeiffer.

If Jenkins has changed his tune-- I'd be quite surprised-- and I've not heard of it.When you are actively promoting ecuмenism, it gets kind of difficult to resist Fellay's joining the Conciliar church. I would just love to hear what he says now, since the public revelations that Fellay was, of course, making a deal with Rome, and giving away the store, at that!

Father Peter Scott announced at Mass today he will be going to South Africa.  Not sure of his replacement yet.  Someone from Ireland I understand.

Are any other priests being moved?

This sounds like a "punishment" for not openly touting the "party line".

Yes, but I think that is the most significant change so far as Canada goes. Second on the list, Fr. Fox is being sent to Australia. Fr. Boulet, temporarily placed in Toronto, is going to Winnipeg. There is a new German priest due to arrive. A Canadian is being ordained and sent to the new mass centre in Calgary.

Sounds like another punishment. Maybe he'll join the Resistance for good.

  • No one answered the question --

Yes, it is normal to shift a bunch of priests around every year.

The SSPX is a missionary society, and getting moved around is part of the vocation the priests have signed up for.

The announcements are made in June, and they usually take effect 1-2 months later.

They move everyone around because you have a constant stream of new priests. Every place is being "taken care of" now with X priests...what are we going to do, now that we have X+10?

Adding these 10 new priests, with their various experience and talents, is going to change the "recipe" for where everyone should be.

But it's also a great chance to move priests around with no one asking "why?" since it happens every year.

  • This is from another topic:

    Francisco said:
Will they replace him (Fr Wegner) as Canada's Superior with that fellow opportunist and Clique Member, Daniel Couture, I wonder?

    Christnoel1 said:
Very possible. :reporter: It seems that Fr. Salvador is out, Fr. Loskee? ( not sure of the spelling ) from Ireland will be transferred to Singapore. Ex-SPX Rev. Mr. Hattrup (to be ordained priest in Winona on Friday, 21st June, will be assigned to the Asian District in the Philippines. So it is two into Asia and one out.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What we now hear is that Fr Babu Theresian will be moved from India to Manila. He is a Tamil speaking Indian. Fr Christopher Beaublat takes over from Fr Robert Brucciani as Prior of India. The latter will now be the headmaster of the India Priory School which has about 50 pupils. So the Indian Mission will have just three priests: Frs Beaublat, Brucciani, and Gregory Noronha ( who is Indian).

Today is the 1-year anniversary of Fr. Damien Fox's conference,
The Frog and the Scorpion, Mediafire Download Here.*

At the time, I passed around this analogy to friends because it
was a turning point for me.  I recall getting quizzical looks from
several who did not find it amusing.  It's interesting to know
that everyone who found something to criticize about that
story from children's literature applied to the SSPX of that time,
turned out to be Accordistas when push came to shove, but a
few had a kind of awakening because of Fr. Fox.

I'm sure that the Menzingen-denizens have not forgiven him for
    that.

*The download uses VLC Media Player, which is a free software
that you can get as open source and it works on just about
every computer made since the beginning of personal computers.
File is 44.7 MB and takes about 4 minutes with DSL Internet. I
have no idea how long that is for DialUp - maybe an hour?
