BY their deeds you shall know them.

God could not make it more obvious.

Engaging the world is the new mission. And anyone can share in the splendour of the past. Well, not quite. It has to be our media gods and godesses that are entitled to display such symbols of authority and grandeur because they are the ones that now inspire greatness and generate adoration. While far lesser breeds that call themselves popes, cardinals and bishops look on with their usual sickly smiles perhaps hiding some envy and memories of those times before they gave it all away.

My friend Wessex,

These excerpts, from the original St. Michael's prayer of Pope Leo XIII (1884), nail it:

“These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions.

In the Holy Place itself, where the See of Holy Peter and the Chair of Truth has been set up as the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be."

These impious hands seem to crave the added aura that they think will emanate from such vulgar displays. Looting the past is a New Age thing and is quite in keeping with conciliar demolition policy. The wreckers want to be part of something new and their vanity is enhanced when in the company of celebrities with very questionable credentials. Never mind, who are we to judge? There is something ecuмenical in wanting to join with others in this way.

For he's a jolly good fellow.....

And, of course, there was that crazy dancing with the Rockettes!  The pic was too immodest to place here.
