Where is Bishop Williamson?

  • Sorry if this question does not deserve a new topic. I think it does.

A holy bishop has been expelled from the congregation where he has lived for the past 40 years. This is a tragedy.

But he is also being expelled from his house and his familiar environment.

He is 72 and probably never cooked a meal for himself.

Where will he say Holy Mass? Who will feed him, do the shopping, care for him and for his home? Does he have a home? Is he alone? Is he receiving enough financial help to take care of his essential needs? Does he drive? Does he have a car? Medical insurance?

I assume the SSPX is not giving him anything and I hear that the SSPX priests have no right to a pension if they leave or are sent away. Zero. Nothing. The firm takes care of all the expenses of the members... as long as they remain inside and submissive.

All these questions and many more prompt me to start this topic.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
    Praised be Jesus ad Mary!

  • I would email him directly via admin@Dinoscopus.org with these questions (and let us know what answers you get).

  • Yes, these things run through my head constantly. And would he let us even know if he needed help? I certainly hope he has at least moved out of the attic and into decent temp lodgings.

  • Anyone with children, especially home schooled, this is a great time to start
practicing making greeting cards.  Handmade cards are quite a treat to
receive because you know they took some personal attention to make.

You can cut out old magazines, or even use parts of old Christmas cards.
Put a picture of your child in the card or include a picture of your family
especially in a Mass setting.  That would make his day.

Bits of ribbon, pattern scissors, glitter, just about anything can become
part of a card.  I'm sure Bishop Williamson would love to get custom cards
made by children.  Lace borders would be very impressive.

Don't get me wrong, a card isn't going to take the place of financial support,
but it can certainly fill a need, and the idea is, that everyone can do
something to help him in this crisis.  He needs to know the children are
praying for him.  God hears the prayers of children.  There is a grace there
that is arguably impossible for an adult to evoke.

  • Perhaps you could remind them that the NO takes care of the priests it expels, even the ones who are child molesters.  The least the SSPX could do is to take care of the bishop it has expelled for the terrible crime of agreeing with the founder of the SSPX.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

Well, certainly, but one needs to know where to send the cards.
