  • I am wondering when (and if) Pfeifferville will respond to the challenge of fr chazal.

One would think that there is an obligation to answer publicly, either that Ambrose is indeed a Catholic bishop who is part of the church, or that he is schismatic, heretical, etc...

  • Rarely does Kentucky respond to anything.  Their policy seems to be to ignore criticism.
We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

  • Will they risk losing an ally such as fr chazal?

Yes.  Please note that the most recent OLMC video features a photo of Fr Chazal as the thumbnail yet the sermon is accusations of being attacked for the ambrose/pablo scandal as a "persecution".

I haven't listened to the sermon you're referring to, but my initial thought is that the image of Fr Chazal was due to creative license on the part of the video producer. Fr Hewko gave the sermon on the same day that Fr Chazal gave his talk about Ambrose, so I doubt he was specifically referring to Fr Chazal. I'd give them until Sunday as any response would likely come in their sermons as is their usual modus operandi.

Yes I agree that it was the producer/priest boss.  That was my point.

Calk 'em up.  Fr. Pfeiffer seems to have learned a lot from his "superior."

It's like when you go to a restaurant and you get bad service from the waiter, it's probably because the waiter is treated badly by the manager.  Or at any other small business where employees interact with customers, disrespectful behavior from a clerk or a customer service representative is almost ALWAYS an indication that they're learning this bad habit from the way the management is treating them, and they simply pass it on to the next level down, that is, the customers.

In this case, the "customers" are the Faithful.  Sad to say.

And the snide grumpiness of the "priest boss/producer" in this case adds more of the same.

  • In one of his recent sermons Fr P stated they had hired a private detective to check up on Ambrose's claims. If that is true, then at the least he should have found the things that have been posted on CI. A PI should have given him ample info by now.

OLMC needs to make some kind of announcement.

I have been supportive both OLMC and +W & the Marcel Initiative. Now I need to know the truth about this Bishop Ambrose. If it is true that Fr P has shopped for a mail-order/matchbook/bargain-basement bishop who isn't even Catholic, and is sending him out to say Mass for resistance groups, it's the last straw for me.

  • I just spoke with an OLMC parishoner who confirmed with Mr. John Pfeiffer (the owner of the chapel and seminary) that "Ambrose" is being accepted as legitimate and the discussion over that is closed.  OLMC will be working with Ambrose in some capacity.  I guess that means the investigation is completed.

  • Realmccoy - Has mr. john pfieffer left the hospital?  I know he was ill and received the last rites a few times.

As for the investigations completion, let's just wait for the next conference from Fr. Chazal.  Fr. Chazal was very "nice" in this first conference.  And, if it doesn't wake up OLMC, surely fr. chazal in his next conference will not be so nice.  Because, in the first, he just criticized what came from the horses mouth(ambrose).  But, the next time, we will hear all of the details that have been revealed here on cathinfo.  Fr. chazal surely is following the cathinfo revelations, and the +gregory news and all the forgeries is for real.  And, he did not speak about that at all in his first conference.

Mr Pfeiffer has been home a week or so.  Do not misconstrue my meaning when I say all parties in control of OLMC (clerics, administrators, owners) are going ahead with "Ambrose" full bore.  This is what was communicated to me from the parishoner who spoke with Mr Pfeiffer yesterday.

Sadly, anyone waiting for a mea culpa from OLMC on this matter is going to wait in vain.  And they don't even care about Fr Chazal  so that's another garden path.

  • If they will continue with this madness about accepting a FALSE bishop, in fact a liar and a deceiver, everyone is welcome not to attack them or anything like that, but say the truth you see with your own eyes: they are accepting a liar and they no longer posses moral authority. If Fr. Pfeiffer celebrates Mass, everyone should be welcome to attend I believe. However you have to warn everyone this giant and big mistake Fr. Pfeiffer and Fr. Hewko are doing.

  • Pray for them. I'll pray later for Fr. Pfeiffer to see the reality.
