  • Love of Money?...maybe 20 % of the reasons neoSspx changed its course..its purpose. I think that the leaders of the day, around 2012, rebranded the SSPX , and publically admitted in their Angelus publications that they will refrain attacking Vat. II etc, ... As we are? Changes... #18

If you have wondered why your priests no longer condemn Vatican II or Roman modernism like they used to (or why priests ordained from 2009 or later never condemned it in the first place!), you have here your explanation:
The SSPX sold out Archbishop Lefebvre's combat for the faith in pursuit of a practical accord, according to a plan hatched by the modernists themselves...."

Appeal from the District Bursar (Easter 2025)

    Dear Faithful,

First and foremost, we express our sincere gratitude for your steadfast generosity over the years (and for your response to the letter we published almost six months ago). Your financial support has been instrumental in enabling the SSPX to expand and consolidate its presence in Canada, ensuring continued access to the sacraments and sound doctrinal formation for all who seek the truth.

We recognize that your generosity is particularly commendable given today’s economic challenges. Many Canadian families are facing financial strain due to rising inflation, increasing housing costs, and economic uncertainty. That you continue to support the Church’s mission despite these difficulties is deeply edifying.

By God’s grace, the SSPX in Canada now comprises 23 priests serving in seven priories, supported by three brothers and six oblates. We also operate three schools and a retreat house, all of which are vital to the Society’s apostolic and educational mission.

The District House, which serves as the administrative and spiritual center of the SSPX in Canada, is located in Saint-Césaire, Quebec. The priests residing there provide pastoral care to multiple mission territories, including Montreal, Saint-Césaire, Brinston, and the Maritimes. Each chapel functions as a financially autonomous entity, fully responsible for its operational and maintenance costs.

In accordance with catholic principal of financial governance, each priory gives 10% from the 1st collection and other non-specified donation to the District House. The District House subsequently remits 5% of its revenues to the central SSPX headquarters in Switzerland, upholding the integrity and sustainability of the Society’s global operations.

Despite this structured approach, we are currently experiencing a critical funding shortfall. Certain chapels and missions have required additional financial assistance to sustain their apostolate, and in some cases, we are having to manage and supply the outstanding debts of some of our missions.

Furthermore, the District House itself, housed in an aging facility, is in urgent need of maintenance and structural repairs, including the replacement of the heating system and ceilings. Renovations are also necessary, such as installing an elevator to assist the sisters and priests with mobility challenges—just a few examples of the work that remains to be done.

Therefore, with humility and confidence in Divine Providence, we turn to you, our faithful supporters, inviting you to consider one of the following ways to assist:

Making a one-time donation to help cover specific expenses.
Making a recurring donation of any amount to provide stable financial support.
Considering leaving a legacy to the SSPX to ensure the Society’s long-term mission.
    How can you make donations?

    Online with a credit card:
Through Zeffy: sspx.ca/en/Support (You can choose “monthly donation”)
    Interact transfer:

Excellent points. I would only add this: behind all of it lies the root—Russia was never consecrated as Heaven requested, and her errors have since infected the entire world.

  • The root of change in the new-sspx was +Fellay taking over after +ABL died.  +Fellay and his henchmen (ie Schmidberger and co) have slowly morphed the sspx into the insult, and kicked out any clerics who would stand in their way.

2012 was the unveiling of the plan, but +W and the other 2 bishops sidetracked the plan (for a short while).  Then the “purge” happened and +ABL’s sspx died.  There’s no denying it at this point.  +Fellay and team aren’t Trads.
