He’s Ukrainian but I do not think he’s from an Orthodox background. He grew up Catholic in St. Lawrence Co, NY. I’m pretty sure he told me he played hockey in high school for OFA, Ogdensburg Free Academy.

I could be wrong, but I thought he was home schooled.
