What's up with Triduum?
« on: April 05, 2021, 08:05:20 PM »
What's up with the sudden use of the term Triduum now for Holy Week? I got it in the Novus Ordo emails from home school groups and the SSPX is using the term for the first time that I ever heard them use it. I never even heard the term in my trad life of 25+ years till last Friday. What gives?

Triduum is nothing new. It is the traditional celebration of the Last Supper, Passion and Resurrection at Easter.

They said the same about communion in the hand. How come I never heard the term used in 26 years of attending the traditional mass, and now I heard it three times in a few days?
