In 2006 Father Girouard was editor of the Canadian district magazine, Convictions. He published an article on the nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr. Compare his cover for that feature story to the most recent edition of The Economist . . .

That's Putin on The Economist cover. The picture is blurred, but you can see it on the newsstands or Google it.
Father Girouard was eventually removed from his post as Editor by Father Wegner. Father Wegner assumed the role of Editor. His first feature article was on the New Age, another topic that Father Girouard had covered during his tenure, only Father Wegner's article lacked clarity. It read more like a mixed between Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and a Novus Ordo encyclical. Lots of words buried in lots of words.

Yes, I rather miss the "imprudent," no-nonsense clarity of the old SSPX; not this systemic third-rate philosophical smokescreen that they try to pass of as the "prudent" way of doing or saying things. Too many multi-syllabic fillers and preservatives in this new leaven, my friend!
