When he admitted to not knowing about the Fr. Chazal video, that was the last straw.
Even if he is not some kind of agent provocateur (note how he's pushing us to actually be HARDER on Boston, and making the attack broader than most of us would want -- attacking Fr. Hewko too)
He's basically asking that we throw ALL our chips in (say Fr. Pfeiffer AND Fr. Hewko are bad, not priests, etc.), or walk away.
No thanks. I don't have to accept your false dilemma. In fact, I totally reject it.
Just because a man supports the Tea Party, thinking the government taxes/spends too much, is too large, etc. doesn't mean we should take up arms. But that's exactly what an agent provocateur does: he agrees with you, and wants you to go FURTHER, usually into dangerous territory. Of course his ultimate aim is the harm of your organization (being discredited, shut down by the government, etc.)
As a moderator, I'm not at liberty to be naive about such things. I have to be careful.
In his case, I'm going to assume he's innocent, but he's posting too darn much for a man who claims to be ignorant of the existence of Fr. Chazal's video about Ambrose Moran. I heard about that video 10 times over -- e-mail, facebook groups, CathInfo, and I'm sure many other places. At the very least it's here on CathInfo, and if he's so "not up to speed" he needs to GET up to speed, at least before he posts 23 times in one day (before I cut him off!) How many posts would he have contributed in 3 days? 150? That's too much chaff for a person who is admittedly ignorant about the whole issue.
Having that much free time to "contribute" also makes me suspicious. Long story short, I have intuition and experience in this matter, and I'm going to trust both in this matter.
There's too much controversy and confusion already, to allow more needless confusion to be created.
