Recall this quote from Sacred Scripture, which is one of the best quotes as to why every Catholic should study apologetics (defense of the Catholic Faith and dogmas)
1 Peter 3:15
"But sanctify the Lord Christ in your hearts, being ready always to satisfy every one that asketh you a reason of that hope which is in you."
Keeping also in mind this quote:
Isaias 42:3
"The bruised reed he shall not break, and smoking flax he shall not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth."
I think it behooves us who support the Resistance to be on our best behavior, not giving the enemies of God any reason to mock. We shouldn't give them any rope to hang us with.
We should make sure that we are charitable, circuмspect, balanced, sane, rational, and completely devoted to God and His Church.
We should make the charges of our enemies seem ridiculous when they call us rumor mongers (we only post factual articles and quotes), rash (we give sober reasons for all our actions), petty (we talk about grave and weighty topics, giving rational and sober criticisms when necessary), and so forth.
And how can they call us wicked sons of the devil when we spend dozens of hours and/or thousands of dollars volunteering and building up chapels in various ways, unto the greater glory of God? That sounds like men in love with Christ and His Church to me, not men who have resigned themselves to Hell.
If we are busy building up the Church (both materially, and spiritually, one soul at a time), we will be following the advice of St. Peter:
Dearly beloved, I beseech you... [12] Having your conversation good among the Gentiles: that whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by the good works, which they shall behold in you, glorify God in the day of visitation.
...
[15] For so is the will of God, that by doing well you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
If we are "on our best behavior", as it were, we can help those weaker souls not be scandalized by the Resistance, or fall for the propaganda of our enemies. Yes, it would be humanly understandable if we criticized these weaker souls for being uninformed and/or easily misled. But the quote above (from Isaias) is applied to Our Lord. He condescended to the weakness of our human nature. Also remember the early Christians, who were persecuted and maligned everywhere. But people saw how much charity the Christians had for one another, and many converted to the Faith!
That's the only way to overcome evil, slander, and propaganda: Be a good example at all times.
