  • I second that. It has the most chance of succeeding and a good and holy bishop running with another supporting it. The Dominican Fathers are giving most of the lectures as well.

STAY CLEAR of the mad house in Boston, KY. If you don't lose the Faith there, you may instead get a curse on you.

  • The seminary is not an order of the Dominicans. It is a new foundation and a SSPX seminary under the leadership of Bishop Faure. It´s not dominican! It is called: Seminary of St. Louis Maria de Montfort. Good priests including
some Dominican Fathers, train the seminarians, and give formation.

  • I forgot to say that those who get there has to speak French. If it is possible they should study this language at home. If it does not work, they will have to learn it there. Brother Anthony ist there and he has also to learn French. I think they will provide with french classes.

I apologize if my one word was misleading. I had to type something in order for the picture to post. : )

The Seminary of St. Louis Marie de Montfort is headed by Bp Faure with the assistance of Fr. Salenave. The Dominicans of Avrille will be assisting in teaching courses. I do not know if the two are in the same general location or not.

When representatives of the Dominicans were last in the US, it was mentioned that they might be able to expand to also assist with an English-speaking seminary in the future if there was enough interest.

  • The Dominicans of Avrillé are already the Dominicans of the United States.  Here is their current American web address:

    http://www.dominicansavrille.us

Every educated American Catholic man should learn French.  That is our future.
