Sr. Lucia alive and well in the mid 1990’s? I very much doubt it. The fake Sr. Lucy, yes, she was possibly recognized from the probably bogus photo. Sorry, but the entire bone structure of a person’s head and facial features don’t change as a result of getting new dentures.
As for the news that Satan has overtaken the world and infiltrated the Church? That’s not news, not in 1995, not now. It’s rather obvious by the bad fruits being produced. We don’t need a seer to recognize it and warn us. “Devout” people of all religions and those of good will, whether converted or not, know it.
I’m glad people were healed, but as is pointed out, the family wasn’t present at these events. As for using DNA to prove or disprove various miracles? If natural science “proves” this or that, where then, is the supernatural faith? “Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believed.” Words of Our Lord to “doubting” St. Thomas.
Benedict XVI? He, too, took part in the Assisi meetings. Before we canonize a Pope in our minds, let’s not make the mistake of thinking him holy because in comparison, his successor is decidedly unholy! Our measure must be Jesus Christ, Himself, Who knew no sin and gave Himself willingly, a Sacrifice of Love for forgiveness of our sins. He is the standard of Holiness, as is His mother, Mary ever Virgin.
