    Quite probably more than just affiliated.

    In one of Roncalli's earliest Encyclicals he has this cryptic phrase about a "mysterious force rising".  I confirmed what someone wrote that "mysterious force" is actually an old name for Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ.  Padre Pio warned before 1960 that the Masons would infiltrate the Church and set up a Counter-Church and said that Masonry had arrived at the slippers of the pope.
