  • I don’t know every pries of the SSPX but I have to ask, did any of these men even know the Archbishop when he was alive?  Wouldn’t it be better to have such priest discuss these topics?

  • Tuesday, October 27 – Archbishop Lefebvre’s Love for the Church - Fr. Kopec

I listened to the first 15 minutes or so of Fr. Kopec's talk.

At the 8:57 minute mark he said:

"....But the hatred of what's evil, or what's harmful is actually secondary [...] love seeks to build; it reacts against things (which are) against that good, secondarily. That's not the reason we act primarily. the reason we act is to build the Church - not to just dig out the dirt. [...] He (+ABL) was absolutely preoccupied with the Church - with souls; the salvation of souls, and was more and absolutely pre-occupied with that than correcting or being right or just reacting against legitimate evils."

    At the 13:38 minute:

"What were the goals, and the spirit in which the society was founded?" [...]

    14:45 minute:

"It (the SSPX) wasn't created as a reaction to conciliar errors. The society is for the Catholic priesthood, which is for the salvation of souls."

    -----------------

So, given what Fr. Kopec says here, in my opinion, it seems that he agrees with the new orientation of the SSPX, where conciliar errors are not the what the SSPX should focus on; but rather they should be more concerned about the salvation of souls. That pretty much sums up the neo-SSPX.

Though I do agree, to a certain extent, that focusing on evils should be secondary, but that evils also should not be ignored, as they are now with the neo-SSPX.

The sedes and sedewhatevers focus ONLY on what's bad and little else - so we see the opposite error with them. But the reason that +ABL started the SSPX was to keep the traditional sacraments going, because the conciliar that didn't actually want them anymore. +ABL, being formed by Fr. Henri Le Floch, was very much concerned about the Crisis in the Church - otherwise, the SSPX would not exist. It's sad that the new SSPX priests don't understand that.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

    ~St. Robert Bellarmine
    De Romano Pontifice, Lib.II, c.29

If they did, they would have been little kids. except for Fr. Rutledge, he would have been a teenager.

  • Not one of them was ordained before the branding campaign, with Fr. Rutledge (militant anti-Resistance) being the veteran of the group ordained in....2009.

This is the sanitized, salt-free SSPX.

Here’s a good dose of Fr. Rutledge (showing how one makes it to the District hierarchy):

Ps: He would not yet have been 8 years-old when Lefebvre died.
