I have to wonder why any traditional Catholic would not want to name a priest, or a few priests at least, who are not misleading the faithful. Most of us on this thread would not have a problem naming priests, or at least a particular group of priests, who are not misleading the faithful. And yet Miser can't do that. I hesitate to add Incred to that list, because he's been a forum member for a long time, and he's a good guy, usually. But Miser is fairly new, and never has anything good to say about any priest, as far as I know.

The only groups that I know of that have the potential to be anti-clerical are Opus Dei and TFP. Maybe Miser is affiliated with one of these?

Don't exempt Incred: It should not be difficult for him to name a few priests he considers orthodox in doctrine, if he believes there are any left.

Yes, you are probably right. How difficult can it be for a trad Catholic to name priests who are orthodox in doctrine. It wouldn't bother me if it were sedevacantist priests who were named. If they believe that no orthodox priest is left in the world, then let them say that, so that we at least know where they are coming from, and it would be helpful to know why they believe that way.

Vigano went there:

https://remnantnewspaper.com/web/index.php/articles/item/6299-vigano-s-declaration-on-the-canonical-sanctions-imposed-on-father-frank-a-pavone

"If serving the Church and defending the life of innocent creatures in this time of apostasy constitutes a crime worthy of dismissal from the clerical state, while promoting abortion and gender ideology and violating consecrated virgins is not deemed liable to excommunication, then Father Pavone ought to consider this shameful Vatican decision to be a source of pride..."

Reminds me of this:

"To be publicly associated with this sanction which is inflicted upon the six Catholic Bishops, Defenders of the Faith in its integrity and wholeness, would be for us a mark of honor and a sign of orthodoxy before the faithful...
