Validity of New Bishops and Those Priests They "Ordained"

  • Like in 2006, the SSPX published an article that for the first time, defended the notion that the new form of bishop consecration was valid.

Now, the main reason why I first started going to the SSPX was because I had serious doubts about the new consecrated bishops being real bishops, and I had doubts about the new ordination rite for priests (to a lessor degree). Now, if a priest was ordained by a "bishop" that had been consecrated in the new rite, then, the priest had two big strikes against him. BIG strikes!

I go first and foremost to the SSPX because I know that Abp. Lefebvre was a valid bishop who consecrated validly the four bishops, who ordained the priest who's mass I attended.

Now, if the Novus-SSPX Menzigen crowd is joining Rome, they are saying that all the bishops and priests are valid priests. They have not said otherwise, right?
If that be the case, why then would I drive hours to a mass at an SSPX chapel, when I can go to an indult mass, Eastern rite mass, 10 minutes away?

I can say almost the same about the SSPX schools. If they start using the CCC to teach religion, why would I send my children away to school, when I can send them to the local Catholic school? If the Novus-SSPX Menzigen crowd accepts Vatican II, and the new mass, they will certainly accept the CCC.

It looks to me like the Novus-SSPX Menzigen crowd are living a lie. Either they are lying to us or they are lying to Rome.
