USE OF PRE55. RESISTANT TO ARCHBISHOP LEFEBVRE?
« on: Today at 11:19:14 AM »
Are SSPX priests (claiming to be in the resistance) using pre55 not in line with Archbishop Lefebvre?

Priests of the North-East District refuse to use 1962 liturgy
It is the result of an extremist way of thinking and a tendency to schism in the domain of the liturgy, the papacy, and the sacraments of the reform.

I don't get it. If people want to "follow Abp. Lefebvre", they should stick to the 1962 liturgy, because that is what he used and ordered his priest to use.

If you prefer the 1954 liturgy, you don't follow Abp. Lefebvre, and it is fine. There is not one single correct way to act in the crisis. It is puerile to think like this.

In my opinion, what people should not do is to use the 1954 liturgy, make agreements with Rome,  etc. and still say that they follow Abp. Lefebvre. If you want to honor his memory, don't twist his words and make up things about him.
