Also, in certain priories there are new positions being taken by the priors and priests, such as:
1. Absolutely no criticism of the Jєωs (a 6-yr. old standard)
2. Criticism of newChurch is highly guarded, "let's don't talk about it".
3. The 3-Days of Darkness prophecies are denounced from the pulpit.
4. Gun ownership is frowned upon.
5. (4) Baptisms are "in" discussions of EENS are "out".
6. Ecuмenical dialogues, seeking Masses in desecrated churches are acceptable.
I agree that all are a problem, except for (5). What's wrong with focusing on baptizing people rather than arguing about EENS and Feeneyism? That's all a waste of time, I agree.
If someone is considering the Catholic Faith, they need to be baptized with water, period. If they were protestant, then it might be a conditional baptism, depending on the circuмstances.
Baptism is basically consummating a conversion to the Faith. I'd say Baptisms SHOULD be "in"!
And little good is EVER done by laymen arguing and fighting about EENS. Out of the last 3 GIGABYTES of text produced on all Trad message boards on this subject in the last 10 years, probably less than 1/2 of 1 percent of that text was written by someone with any formal theological training.
