A report regarding the vacillating Benedictined of Bellaigue (France): Have they finally decided to hold their ground against threats from Menzingen to withhold ordinations?
From "Joseph" on the French Resistance website:
http://resistance.vraiforum.com/t1040-Bellaigues-dans-le-viseur-de-Menzingen.htm"You will no longer find the monastery of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue on the official website of the neo-FSSPX.
The Benedictines of Bellaigue are indeed in Menzingen's sights, because they do not intend to follow the FSSPX's agreementist policy.
The General House tried to obtain the head (i.e. resignation) of Fr. Placide, Prior of the monastery. Failing to obtain it, Menzingen takes low revenge by verbally asking district superiors to stop supporting Bellaigue, and even dissuading vocations from going there.
And on the site of the neo-Fraternity, Bellaigue simply "disappeared."
