  • That was a weak excommunication scene. Let's see if I can post a good one.
    We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

  • Watched it. It is an interesting story. What a change from monster into saint Thomas Beckett.

    One thing I noticed was that the king was able to buy the consecration of Thomas to the rank of archbishop. Also he was a deacon who ended up having no faith, corrupted by power and luxury, until he converted and died a martyr.
