One of my favorite Scriptural episodes, from Acts chapter 23:
[6] And Paul knowing that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, cried out in the council: Men, brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of Pharisees: concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. [7] And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees; and the multitude was divided.
[8] For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
[9] And there arose a great cry. And some of the Pharisees rising up, strove, saying: We find no evil in this man. What if a spirit hath spoken to him, or an angel?
I just LOVE this episode -- St. Paul was as wise as a serpent here. He divided them right down the middle and destroyed their unity, all while speaking the truth.
I just finished reading the Dr. David Allen White biography of Bishop Williamson.
Re-reading the recent history of what happened, it is clear as day that +W was cast out because of his fighting the h0Ɩ0h0αx myth. But this is of critical importance to the Catholic Faith. It is NOT a secular matter, the question of the "h0Ɩ0cαųst" is primarily a religious question. And it touches on the very core of our Faith!
+W could say, like St. Paul, that he is being judged because of his belief in Christ, the Resurrection, the Catholic Faith -- which states that Christ should be adored, not the Jєωιѕн people. Calvary is the place of the Great Sacrifice, not Auschwitz. And so on. And from the very beginning of the Church, the Jєωs conspired and machinated against the Church, and continue to do so until the present day -- and +W isn't afraid to say so.
That, my friends, is the first and last reason why +W was expelled from the SSPX. And he will hopefully be rewarded in Heaven for doing so.
