  • The White House Guest List for Pope Francis Visit…It’s a doozey!

    1.NICOLE SANTAMARÍA
     EL SALVADOR-

Nicole is the Secretary of Asociación Colectivo Alejandría, a collective of transgender and intersex people seeking to promote awareness, provide training and education, and advocate for their community. Nicole is also a member of the Salvadoran Network of Defenders of Women’s Human Rights and a facilitator of varying workshops.

At her core, Nicole is an artist, designer, facilitator, and therapist who has transformed her “artistic skills into tools for social design.” She describes herself as a “woman in constant construction and destruction because [she] believes in the evolutionary nature of the human being.”

    2. MARCIA GARBER:
Marcia is a member of Dignity Boston, a group of Catholic advocates for gαy and transgender persons. Garber’s son C.J. was transgender, born female but presenting as male. She committed ѕυιcιdє in 2009.

    3. MATEO WILLIAMSON:
Mateo Williamson, a transgender Catholic and the former co-chairman of Transgender Caucus for Dignity USA.

    4. REV, STEPHANIE SPELLERS:
Rev. Stephanie Spellers, a Episcopal theologian. Spellers wasn’t able to register for the event in time, but tells CNS News she “did get the invite.” Spellers is the author of “Radical Welcome: Embracing God, the Other, and the Spirit of Transformation.”

    5. REV. CAMERON PARTRIDGE:
Rev. Cameron Partridge, the first transgender person to preach at Washington National Cathedral.

    6. Also attending, not through Taylor but via a direct invitation from the White House, is gαy Catholic blogger Aaron Ledesma and Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson, the first openly gαy Anglican bishop and senior fellow at the Center for American Progress.

Additionally there is Sister Simone Campbell, the Executive Director of NETWORK, which describes itself as “a national Catholic social justice lobby.” Sister Campbell is attending two events – the White House reception and Pope Francis’ address to Congress September 24

SOUNDS LIKE AN INVITATION FROM HEROD AND THE ROMAN EMPIRE.

  • This is a blasphemous insult to Our Lord Jesus Christ in the person of His Vicar, but I'll bet that Pope Francis will not take it that way.

  • I will do my best to avoid all news about his visit completely, except I suppose,  for news about it posted on these forums.

  • Bergoglio will feel right at home.  And he will absolutely NOT say anything that would "offend" any of the guests, not because he won't want to offend them, but because he doesn't believe in anything that would offend them.

  • Any day now I expect fire and brimstone falling from the skies.

It just cannot get any worse.
