  • Why does the SSPX even bother critiquing Pope Francis at all?

What do they hope to accomplish by putting out such "neutrally"-worded so-called "critiques" of Pope Francis who any reasonable person can clearly see is on a path to destroying and humiliating the Church?

Is it their desire to look "charitable" toward the pope?

Is it their hidden pride along the lines of: "We're now far better and more refined than our own Founder and won't resort to his intemperate outbursts and incendiary open letters to Rome"?

Is it their desperation to come across as somehow "reasonable" or perhaps even "fair and balanced" like some laughably "conservative" Zionist-friendly cable news network?

Whatever the exact nature of their diabolical disorientation, it is hard not to conclude that they are complicit in sending souls to hell by failing to warn them of the serious destruction being carried out by this one-man wrecking crew we know to be Pope Francis.

Why won't the SSPX just come out and tell it like it is and sound the alarm of true charity as in the days of its great Founder so that sleeping souls will be jolted awake and confused souls can swerve clear of the Bergoglio shipwreck?

Instead, the SSPX acts like a total coward who, instead of warning his family of an approaching street thug hell-bent on doing some serious damage, actually goes out of his way to painstakingly describe the intruder and his despicable actions in "neutral" terms . . . so as not to appear "imprudent."

(Bishop Williamson would hands-down make the best impersonation of such a worthless weasel.)

"Oh! . . . That man seems to be raising his voice and maintaining eye-contact.

"Oh! . . . That man is moving a big metal pipe in a swift manner."

"Oh! . . . Than man seems to be headed our way."

"Oh! . . . That man seems to be physically fit."

"Oh! . . . That man seems blessed with good health."

"Oh! . . . That man may need something from us."

  • Skunkwurxsspx is right. What a joke.

After trying to read about 6 paragraphs, I skimmed the rest - that article is another disappointment coming from the SSPX.

If I was handed that article without knowing who it's author was and had to guess the author, I'd guess it was just another NO writer supporting the pope because of what he does not say - and what little he does say is way too watered down.

For those who want to suffer through another waste of space, here is the link: http://sspx.org/en/news-events/news/criticism-pope-francis%E2%80%99-interviews-2553

It was evident from the 'Voice in the Wilderness' conference in Ireland that the majority of those present do not read Cath Info. I attended the first day of the conference in June and judging by the gasps and nods of disapproval many were hearing information for the first time.I was amazed as it was not new information. Even if you allow for no access to the internet, the lack of awareness was amazing.

The Irish SSPX youth group arranged for a weekend away in Cork. It was pathetic as even a man in his 40s went on the youth weekend to avoid the Bishop.

Bishop Fellay, Dr Krah and Fr Pfluger are delighted many Irish didn't lend the "extremists" credibility by attending the conference.

The SSPX youth group showed themselves to be good loyalists, loyal to the Church to Bishop Fellay as did the laity, who went to Knock shrine with Fr Morgan.

This is fantastic but as you are aware, the SSPX has surrendered. There will be no more coming out fighting.

  • This is what passes for "criticism" in the branded SSPX.

    Timid observations, but no condemnations.

John, these are very sobering words indeed. Maybe my attachment to the "old" SSPX is preventing me from letting this reality sink in a little quicker. God bless!

  • I was not impressed with the critique of Francis. I was wondering while reading it where the criticism was.

  • The SSPX (are you listening SSPX) is simply playing to their supporters.  Show some sort of indignation (weak as it may be) but not so as to upset Rome.  So many cliches here:  straddling the fence, playing it cozy, playing it safe name it what you will.

The hour is late SSPX, say what you will, but there are now alternatives which will expand as things get worse.  There are new times.  Truth travels at the speed of a keyboard.  You can't hide. It takes money to run an empire.  When the money dries up, the empire crumbles.  A rich inheritance will not sustain forever.
