  • The Resistance Priests are comparing the demise of the SSPX to the sinking of the Titanic.

The unsinkable HMS Titanic, the largest (at that time) luxury ship in the world, planned, designed, built and paid for by Masons, struck an iceberg on the night of April 14, 1912.

It sunk 3 hours later, killing almost 1500 people -- 2/3 of those aboard.

The "comfortable" elite aboard refused to believe it could sink, some of whom continued to drink, gamble, play cards and enjoy themselves as the ship went down while the officers tell them not to worry ("Put your life jacket on, please").

The poor in third class ("steerage") were largely trapped in the very bowels of the behemoth and perished.

Those smart enough to figure out what was happening got to the deck and into a lifeboat rowed by non-coms (firemen, stokers and other bottom dwellers) as the band played on to calm the frightened passengers.

The unsinkable HMS SSPX, the largest (at this time) traditional group in the world, planned, designed, built and paid for by a son of Our Lady, struck an iceberg on the night of April 14, 2012.

It sunk 3 months later, on July 14, 2012 ("Bastille Day/6 Conditions") killing almost ???? people -- how many of those aboard?

The "comfortable" elite aboard refused to believe it could sink, some of whom continue to get their local Latin Mass Product and dump their kids off at the schools and enjoy themselves as the ship goes down while the priests tell them not to worry ("Grace of Office and There's No Deal").

The poor in third class ("outsiders") are largely trapped in the very bowels of the behemoth and may perish.

Those smart enough to figure out what is happening get to the deck and in a lifeboat rowed by non-coms ("soldier" priests, not "captains" or "generals") as the band plays on to calm the frightened passengers.

  • This comparison alludes to the inability or unwillingness of most to extracate themselves from the tragedy before becoming engulfed by the march of modern history. Bp. Williamson speaks of an eagerness to revert to the false refuge of the 1950s where the glamorous appearance of Catholicism concealed the substance undergoing an act of destruction. For some this is like knowing what is coming down the pike but pretending all is fine up to the very last minute.

  • Its interesting to note, that after the SSPX proclaimed themselves "Guardians of the Faith", this tradgedy happened to them.  Pride comes before the fall.
