  • Does it matter? Who can judge? The Catholic Church is Universal.
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

  • Probably the US, though I think the Resistance is pretty strong in Canada and Mexico as well.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • And Brazil.

It might help to specify what you mean by "strongest."

  • Asia should not be ignored either.  Was this question a pretext for starting another thread about race or "who's best?"

  • .

What about Mexico?  There is a widespread contingent there
of Cristeros, but they might not be so eager to take sides
quickly with a new "movement" - they're loyal, but also
suspicious. So their numbers might be hard to count just yet.

  • Does it matter?  Why?  In which country was the SSPX strongest?  What does it mean?
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

  • The faith was always the strongest where the persecution was fiercest.

No surprises then that the Resistance eminates from the Anglo-Saxon countries, where the effort to stamp out Bishop Williamson was noted way back in 2003-2009.

  • It's also in pockets around the country. You can be in one part of a country and have no idea where to look.

  • Where were the true sons of the Archbishop, faithful servants of the Lord Jesus, there could exist resistance against neo-SSPX.

  • I wouldn't know how to measure the strength, but there a number or priests and lay faithful in South America (mainly Argentina, Colombia, Brazil).  In fact, some of the priests there saw the betrayal already in 2008 and even earlier.

  • In Argentina "some of the priests there saw the betrayal already in 2008 and even earlier" that they didn't doubt to kick out +W asap, betraying him. Come on Adolphus.

Sorry to comment on SSPX matters but you could count them on one hand. Why kid yourself, Adolphus? I commend your zeal but do list these priests. You might wish to believe there are many priests but it's necessary to be honest. Even in a recent sermon given by Bishop Williamson, he doubts priests will be vocal so who are these priests. The betrayal was out in the open and personally, I found many SSPX priest sermons in Ireland very scripted, very preparing the way, softening up the laity.

I could easily answer to your questions, but I don't think you are asking properly.  Maybe later...
