We should always be clear on Catholic terminology.  A lie consists in speaking a falsehood with the intention of deceiving.  A person who speaks a falsehood with no intention of deceiving speaks a falsehood, but does not in doing so tell a lie even though the falsehood may have been picked up from someone who was lying when they told it.

As I said:

There are only 2 possibilities here:

A) The author who wrote this is perfectly willing to bald-faced lie
B) The author didn't know the truth, but he blindly repeats propaganda and lies from Fr. Pfeiffer and/or Pablo.

Either way, it's a huge problem!

Whether it's the Recusant (etc.) voluntarily lying for their master, or the master (Fr. Pfeiffer) himself doing the lying -- either case is equally grave.

I repeat: if none of these people were guilty of lying, and all the lies originated with Fr. Pfeiffer himself -- would that really be any better? Would that make Fr. Pfeiffer's sect  any more desirable for Traditional Catholics?

If you ask me, that would make it WORSE. It would be better, objectively speaking, if it were the foot soldiers lying on their own initiative, rather than innocently repeating vicious lies from their leader, a priest! After all, a priest should be holier than his flock.

I am intimately familiar with BRN. This is just simple nonsense. I feel obligated to share some information concerning Fr. Pfeiffer.

He arrived at my home without much notice a couple years ago and requested quarters and an altar at which to say Mass. I obliged because I have known him for nearly 20 years. I told him point blank that his message was not balanced and yet I also gave him money because he is a priest and I am myself a former cleric. At this particular visit, he attempted to convince me that the local pastor at the time--of the SSPX had almost joined him in his resistance stance. This was a gross exaggeration of an assumption.

The assertion that Fr. Zendejas and +Williamson and His Excellency's non-profit in the US was created to take away anything from Fr. Pfeiffer is like saying lightning exists to clear arid forests and destroy the landscape.

One may happen as a result of the other, but it is not the primary reason.

Fr. Pfeiffer's penchant exaggerations are an unfortunate indicator of his mind; it is unbalanced and he is as well. We ought to pray for him to come to his senses and stop creating enemies.
