Why did you not simply copy the comments and post them on this thread? I don't
think Matthew would mind. I've done that and so have others, and it has not caused
even a stir.

When you see something likely to be deleted that serves our purpose, then
copy it, if you can, and post it in an appropriate thread on CI for others to
observe for their benefit.

Can you summarize what was said on this:

...the "Liturgical experts" on the front page of NLM website and others consulting with
each other on the future of the Indult "reform of the reform missal".

They were very long exchanges. Just one would have taken a lot of space but I regret it. You can still save the articles and the interview with Fr. Fessio is very interesting to read. Fr. Fessio had published his own missalet (?) in 2007 as soon as SP was released. The missal had the specifications of SP. There was an arguement on AQ about it, they were saying "how dare he does that", but the  e missalet had a letter from EDC giving him permission in 1997. Yes, 10 years before SP. I bought the missalet to examine it and after lending it, got lost.

Fr. Fessio is considered by these "Liturgical experts" the leading expert on the reform of the reform. Read the link with his name on it and the interview. And please, real all the links you can. We have to warn others because this RR will deceive even the "elect" that is not informed.

Fr. Fessio, while he was the head of Ignatius Press, was travelling throughout the USA and sending numerous fundraising letters, attempting to implement the "reform of the reform" in conservative NO parishes in the late 1990s.  His missal/hymnal, Adoremus, was installed in whatever Church willing to introduce this idea.  It was a miserable failure in the NO.  (BTW, Fr. Fessio is a great friend of Cardinal Schonborn; they were Fr. Joseph Ratzinger's prize pupils at Freibourg University).

When Card. Ratzinger became Pope Benedict XVI. he turned toward Tradition as the instrument to bring about the reformed 1962 hybrid missal.  This must be the real reason he warmed to the notion of reconciling the SSPX.  +Fellay was just the prelate to push this Trojan Horse into the SSPX and the Ecclesia Dei Groups.

Thank you Marie and Domitilla!  I had completely forgotten about Fr. Fessio and his connection.
