  • Is there anything we can do to support Fr. Zendejas?  Does anyone know if he needs anything?  If so, how should it be sent?  Is there an address to send donations to help him get on his feet?

This may have changed, but as of a few days ago, I was told Fr. Zendejas asked his location in CT to be kept private, not to be given to the 'public'. Again, that was as of Saturday evening, may have changed since then.

  • Maybe a P.O. Box might be a good idea? Just a thought.  If there is anything anyone can do to help the good Padre' please keep us posted.

  • With the current turmoil Father Z wants his location kept private. Considering the situation his spirits were good when I saw him Sunday.

  • For now, I think Father would appreciate prayers to St. Joseph on his behalf.

  • It's not secrecy.  It's privacy.  There's a difference.

  • I do not speak for Father Zendejas; I do not speak for the Danbury coordinators, I do not speak for the Resistance. I speak for myself. To a very caring and legitimate request desiring to help Father Zendejas, one poster has posted a vile and vicious response. There is absolutely no one in Platte City authorized to accept any donations or assistance on behalf of Father Zendejas. As he clearly told each group of faithful, he has been separated from the SSPX . Listen to his sermon, the New Jersey sermon is on one of these forums ( I will try and get the link ). To place such a scurrilous post is reprehensible. You are flat out calling Father a liar and a fraud. Win, lose or draw, he is your priest;he is another Christ; I pray for you.

I understand that either ( or both) Father or the coordinators are arranging a contact point for Father; perhaps by the time we have our next Mass things would have jelled further. I will post what I find out.

  • Hugeman, you speak well.  All one can say about posters like Incredulous is, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do".

    I will go one further.

No one here in the "Fr. Zendejas is in the right" side has ever gone so far to insult Fr. Pfeiffer.

How dare some people insult a priest of God so flippantly without any hesitation or scruple! Trads have become so jaded they've become their enemy! In the process of fighting for their Faith, they've practically lost the Faith they were trying to preserve!

But I suppose it tends to show third-parties on which side righteousness is to be found...

  • So what about the information posted on the site of Our Lady of Mount Carmel?  For those of you who know Father Zendejas, can you shed some light on the situation?

  • Incredulous,

This is your first and LAST warning.

There will be no more slanderous, rash-judgment posts casting doubt on Fr. Zendejas.

If I am wrong, it goes without saying that I will admit so publicly. What kind of evil, malicious fink do you take me for?

I stand for the truth and always have, and that much is not open for debate.

If you disagree with the preceding statement, you can either A) stay here and pretend you agree, or B) leave.

It sounds dictatorial on the surface, but think about it: what forum can you openly call the owner/moderator a flaming, malicious liar and/or scoundrel and have him be OK with that?

I defy you to produce even ONE forum that would allow that.

If you can produce for me JUST ONE example, perhaps I could reconsider whether or not I have been too harsh and tyrannical.

  • If Fr. Zendejas told laity it is still ok to attend SSPX chapels I would have a problem supporting him. I listened to about 30mins of his conference and will listen to remainder when time allows.

All in all I do feel the priest should be supported.

Fr. Zendejas:  "That’s why I left the Society, because they are taking a different direction - that’s obvious.  That’s obvious."

yes, PAT317-- I believe that that is the Sparta Sermon.

In it, Father Zendejas more than amply answered the questions of the Mass-goers. Some even asked him who ordained him, and where he has been, etc. It is obvious that several questioners had no idea of the caliber of priest before them, and it seems that they had been primed to ask such questions.
Father  stated clearly that he had requested dismissal from the SSPX; that he was against the new direction of the SSPX;That he was an SSPX priest for 27 years; that he disagreed with the basic theology behind the new code of Canon Law ( eg non-Catholics can and should receive Communion; the ends of Marriage are primarily for the mutual enjoyment of the parties, etc); that he supported the teachings of the Catholic Church as taught by the Archbishop Lefebvre; that he wished to work with Father Pfeiffer in establishing a bulkhead for the Catholic Church in the Northeast; that he sees  (in union with Archbishop Lefebvre and almost all Catholic Orders) that a stable Catholic environment is more conducive to the development of the faith, Catholic families and Catholic communities; Father stated he was prepared to provide regular catechetical instruction ( a point in apposition to Fr. Pfeiffer's concept presented  in his sermon that weekend-- the faith can grow just with the rosary under your pillow and Mass every five or six weeks), because the faithful need to know why they are "Traditional" Catholics.

This sermon, especially in conjunction with the printed sermon which Father prepared for the faithful, clearly gives father's stance and positions on the current crises in the Church, and the crises in the SSPX. It is just curious how Father Pfeiffer can maintain, as he did in Danbury on All Souls Day, that "after two hours of talking to Father Zendejas, I don't know his doctrine or his theology-- all I got was a headache.." ( I'm sorry for his headache--- but I think its coming from Boston, Ky-- not Fr. Zendejas).

Thank-you, Pat317, for posting this sermon.

Your welcome, Holly, but that 's not my quote ( although I think it correct). The offending, if you will, post which precipitated the warning had, it seems, already been removed. Trust me, you would not have liked it, especially in the context of all the recent rancor.

Sorry, Huge, for wrongly attributing the quote to you, although you seem to agree with it.  That's a relief.
BTW, I just received an email forwarded from the "coordinator" of the Danbury, CT to a responsible party in the Post Falls "resistance" chapel.  This person assures everyone that the Danbury chapel members stand "firm" with Fr. Pfieffer and the "TRUTH."  No one, she says, should believe in these internet rumors floating about.  Any comments?
