Title: The Monastery Of Santa Cruz in Brazil Also Needs Your Support
Post by: Guga on December 06, 2012, 07:22:08 PM
Dear friends in the Faith,

I would like to remember that the Monastery of Santa Cruz in Brazil also need our help.

In the past year and half the community grew exponentially. From 7 monks to 12 monks plus the 8 nuns who is running the small school. The kids in the school are kids whose parents can’t afford a private school; therefore it is up to the monastery to finance their catholic studies. The faithful who attend mass on Sundays are also people that can’t help much financially speaking.

The Monastery has also accommodated Fr. Cardozo since he left the SSPX to fight for the Truth

The oldest school’s building is passing trough a big reformation as you can see here
http://spessantotomas.blogspot.com.br/2012/10/doacoes-para-reforma-da-escola-sao.html  and they had to stop it due to lack of money.

Bellow you can wach the slide photos from the school recently taked.

To all who help them, the monks will  assure their prayers in their daily offices prayers and in the masses.

Here is the link for their PayPal account: http://www.beneditinos.org.br/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=74&Itemid=104

Any amount will be very helpfull.

May God bless your generosity in advance.

God bless you Guga, for helping these holy men and women at Santa Cruz Monastery.  Healthy growth in the community is God's Mercy.  Laudate Dominum!

Since we've had so much fun this past year with expulsions and possible accords and ever-changing rubrics at Mass, we're drastically re-allocating our donations.  Be assured the Monastery will benefit.
