    Sit down and listen to Uncle Bernie tell a few stories and yarns complete with funny and witty anecdotes.  Just to be sure, Uncle Bernie throws a dash of Catholicism into them with scant theology.  Trust Bp. Fellay, he’s going to transform Modernist Rome into the spotless bride of Christ once the SSPX gets their personal prelature cubby-hole in the insane wing of the Novus Ordo mansion.  After all as Uncle Bernie reminds us countless times, we live in confusing times!

    The incoherent ramblings of
    Bp. Fellay on relations with Rome

  • LAND OF CONFUSION (with a few edits)

    I must've dreamed a thousand dreams
    Been haunted by a million Novus ordo screams
    But I can hear their marching feet.
    The xSPX... is movin... into the street.

    Now did you read the news today
    Bp. Fellays says the danger's gone away

    But I can see the modernist fire's still alight
    There burning into the night.

    There's too many femmes
    Too many compromised people
    Making too many problems
    And not much love of Jesus Christ goin round

    Can't you see
    This is a land of confusion!

    This is the neo-trad world we live in
    And these are the hands we're given
    Use them and let's start praying
    To make it a place worthy of Our Lord's grace.

    Ooh Maxie Krah where are you now?
    When everything's gone wrong somehow?

    The men of the cassock, the men who compromised our Faith's power.
    Are losing control by the hour.

    This is the time
    This is the place
    So we count on Our Lady, cause there's not much love for Jesus Christ goin round
    Tell me…

    "Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • For many years now, the incoherent ramblings of Bp. Fellay on relations with Rome seem to be intentionally done to discourage his critics (or even members!) from listening.
    The love of God be your motivation, the will of God your guiding principle, the glory of God your goal.

    Phil Collins is indeed a real musician. He can actually sing.
    I heard many of his songs on the radio back in the early 90's, and I still like some of them, including "Land of Confusion", "We Wait and we Wonder", and "Hero".

  • The Spider And The Fly

    "Will you walk into your promised prelature?" said the spider to the fly;
    "'Tis the prettiest little prelature that ever you may spy.
    The way into your prelature is up a winding stair,
    And I have many curious things to show when you are there."
    "Oh no, no," said the little fly; "to ask me is in vain,
    For who goes up your winding stair can ne'er come down again."

    "I'm sure you must be weary, dear, with soaring up so high.
    Well you rest upon my little bed?" said the spider to the fly.
    "There are pretty curtains drawn around; the sheets are fine and thin,
    And if you like to rest a while, I'll snugly tuck you in!"
    "Oh no, no," said the little fly, "for I've often heard it said,
    They never, never wake again who sleep upon your bed!"

    Said the cunning spider to the fly: "Dear friend, what can I do
    To prove the warm affection I've always felt for you?
    I have within my pantry good store of all that's nice;
    I'm sure you're very welcome - will you please to take a slice?"
    "Oh no, no," said the little fly; "kind sir, that cannot be:
    I've heard what's in your pantry, and I do not wish to see!"

    "Sweet creature!" said the spider, "you're witty and you're wise;
    How handsome are your gauzy wings; how brilliant are your eyes!
    I have a little looking-glass upon my parlor shelf;
    If you'd step in one moment, dear, you shall behold yourself."
    "I thank you, gentle sir," he said, "for what you're pleased to say,
    And, bidding you good morning now, I'll call another day."

    The spider turned him round about, and went into his den,
    For well he knew the silly fly would soon come back again:
    So he wove a subtle web in a little corner sly,
    And set his table ready to dine upon the fly;
    Then came out to his door again and merrily did sing:
    "Come hither, hither, pretty fly, with pearl and silver wing;
    Your robes are green and purple; there's a mitre upon your head;
    Your eyes are like diamond bright, but mine are dull as lead!"

    Alas, alas! how very soon this silly little fly,
    Hearing his wily, flattering words, came slowly flitting by;
    With buzzing wings he hung aloft, then near and nearer grew,
    Thinking only of her brilliant eyes and green and purple hue,
    Thinking only of his mitred head. Poor, foolish thing! at last
    Up jumped the cunning spider, and fiercely held her fast;
    He dragged her up his winding stair, into the dismal den -
    Within his little prelature - but she ne'er came out again!

    And now, dear little faithful, who may this story read,
    To idle, silly flattering words I pray you ne'er give heed;
    Unto an evil counselor close heart and ear and eye,
    And take a lesson from this tale of the spider and the fly.

  • I tried to comment on youtube about the six-part Fellay ramblings.  Some of you may have seen it, but you had to be fast.  Because shortly after I posted my remarks, they were quickly removed.  In fact, all comments have now been disabled.

    In summary, I wrote that we weren't interested in learning things that most of us already knew, or were at least somewhat aware of in the Society's dealings with Rome. I wanted the SG to address the issues which really preoccupy many of the faithful.  For example:

    1)  What about GREC?  How come most folks knew nothing about it prior to 2011?

    2) Who is this Zionist Society lawyer 'Max Krah?  Describe  your business relationship to him, Excellency?  What is this Jaidhoffer Foundation all about anyway?

    3)  Why have so many good priests, including one bishop, been expelled from the Society?

    4) What were the real reasons that Bp. Williamson was kicked out?  I'm not sure that many of us know really.

    5)  Why did you go to law in order to prevent 219(?) heretofore unpublished  sermons of ABL from being put into a book? After all his own brother and sister wanted them to be published, and gave permission to have it done.

    6) Did you really act unilaterally, (as you seem to imply), in refusing to strike a deal with Rome, or did your own confreres, including Bp. Tissier, make that decision for you?  Many will testify that you were under pressure from them not to do it.  Otherwise you would have.

    7)  Why don't you address the recent ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ sex scandals  at Immaculate Conception Academy in Post Falls, ID.  Not only there, but we learn that similar scandals, a few involving Society priests, might be wide spread throughout SSPX Mass centers, both here and in Europe.

    8)  Why are you conducting another "Rosary Crusade," which, in part, is for the Consecration of Russia.  Your  RC in 2009, for the same purpose, produced no results at all.

    9)  Why would you fly thousands of (expensive) miles across the Atlantic to deliver 110 minutes of a rather ho-hum, disjointed, and not very coherent message to faithful members of the SSPX 'choir?'  Are they not already pretty much acquainted with the situation?

    To my knowledge, +Fellay allowed no time after that conference for any Q & A.  I think,maybe, he doesn't even trust his own loyalists.

    Thanks for your input Lady Clare!
    You're correct.
    But with a little more word-smithing, I think I can smooth out the lyrics, so it wouldn't miss a beat.

  • Listen to Part 6 starting min. 3:00. Under the agreement, the pope would choose a bishop for the SSPX, as part of the SSPX  and priests and faithful would be under that bishop. The pope could start with a "conservative" bishop, retired him early and then...who?

  • I'm confused, I thought the Bishop would be chosen from the ranks of the SSPX, that the SG would proffer three names, and the Pope would choose?

  • Did I understand correctly that the bishop will be chosen by the pope and "taken in" by the SSPX? If so, it could not be an SSPX bishop.

  • In the Spanish translation by Radio Cristiandad it says clearly that the bishop will be from the SSPX. I guess they will present three names and the pope will choose one. My mistake.
