I am beginning to suspect that all those priests that used to routinely feed us stuff about the 'enemies of the church' never really believed it themselves. They did it to curry favour with ABL whose ideas on the political situation in Europe were well known. The new brand is repudiating his stance not only in this respect but also with regard to the Council. But the two of course are inextricably linked.

Max Krah is such a poseur; he follows the money and craves power. Dresden must have been a bit of a backwater to climb out of!
