  • Deo gratias.

It is with great excitement that I can now announce the availability of the English translation of Fr. Olivier Rioult's book The Impossible Reconciliation!

It is available solely through Amazon at this time. (Perhaps a publisher will pick it up at some point . . . .)

If you need to order in bulk, please send me a PM and we can work out a discount.

. . . and spread the word as this book really needs to be distributed among the faithful.

  • Thank you MD for adding the link.

    I should have done that.

In case people have forgotten, the book is a compilation of docuмents and correspondence on the attempted reconciliation with Rome and a good chronology of the events. It includes many docuмents that have not been available in English, so it gives a good account of the global resistance.

And this edition even has a copy of the infamous "Doctrinal Declaration" in the Appendix.

Order now and beat the Christmas rush! :rahrah:

(I would post a copy of the cover, but I could not get it down to a manageable size. :smash-pc:)

  • This is a "print on demand" book. So they do not hold an inventory.

So, if you order 1 copy, they will print one.

If you order 20 copies, they will print 20.

  • This book is a great resource to explain how we got to our current situation.

The proceeds will go to help support resistance priests.

  • Just got my copy.

    It is a real show-stopper.

You will read things here that are not published anywhere else.

I wonder how Menzingen will respond?

This book tears the veil away.

  • Here is a tantalizer:

"Bishop Fellay alone carries the responsibility for this dialogue of the deaf.  To do this, he created a monstrous ambiguity by giving a contrary sense to the 1974 Declaration of Archbishop Lefebvre:

Archbishop Lefebvre expressed this first principle of attachment to the Catholic faith admirably on 21 November 1974, and we may say that it is still our charter today: The enemy is inside, it is modernism.  'We wholeheartedly adhere with all our soul to Catholic Rome, guardian of the Catholic faith, and of the traditions necessary to keep this faith; to eternal Rome, mistress of wisdom and truth,' We wholeheartedly adhere to this text.  'To Catholic Rome means something.  This Catholic Rome is not an abstraction, let us be very careful about this!  It is not an abstraction, it is a reality.  When the Archbishop says: We adhere to Catholic Rome, this means Catholic Rome today...It is the Rome that exists today, with the following characteristics: this eternal Rome is Catholic, guardian of the faith, preserving the faith.'"

  • Rhetorical question:

Do you[/u] believe Archbishop Lefebvre equated eternal Rome with present day Rome???

    I despise dishonesty.

    As do I.

Bishop Fellay 'conveniently' failed to follow through on his quote of the Archbishop. He deliberately specified "Catholic Rome", and continues to distinguish it from the current Curia and hierarchy found there.

    Quote
We hold firmly with all our heart and with all our mind to Catholic Rome, Guardian of the Catholic Faith and of the traditions necessary to the maintenance of this faith, to the eternal Rome, mistress of wisdom and truth.

We refuse on the other hand, and have always refused, to follow the Rome of Neo-Modernist and Neo-Protestant tendencies, which became clearly manifest during the Second Vatican Council, and after the Council, in all the reforms which issued from it.

This quote is actually obsolete, and can no longer be used as a model for one's relationship to Rome.

The current reality is that Rome of today has long since passed by tendencies to the above, and is now swimming in a sea of manifest Modernism, Protestant theology and practice, overseen by internalized Jєωιѕн thought.

The apostatic tendency has matured into a real apostacy from the faith.

I noticed just now that 48 copies of this have sold through this link.  :rahrah:  :reading:

If you don't have a copy yet, it's 15% off right now. I think Amazon sets the price, so it changes all the time.

(And, thank you to those 48 people who each gave about a dollar to CathInfo with their purchase!)
