There will still be many whose Cross will be that they do not have access and cannot build it. I pray and believe God will sustain them in their sorrows. That would be a particularly difficult Cross I think. Those who can, however, should not waste any time. It's very much a time to be proactive.
This is my situation. Up until four years ago, I was proactive and able to access Resistance Masses. Events happened. I was put out of the SSPX for something I did not do, unrelated to the Resistance. Changes in finances, health, family obligations, and finally, rejection by warring factions within the Resistance itself have left me on my own. Barring a great miracles, I'll die in this condition. In belief, I'm Catholic, but so far as ability to practice as a normal Catholic, there is nothing and nobody. The few people around me who claim to be Catholic will not so much as say grace before meals. Some Protestants invite me to their church with offers of material assistance. When I decline, they withdraw the goods! No surprise there. Most people I encounter are not religious, meaning they live as if there is no God. I lost the few friends I had after getting booted aside by the Resistants, more interested in following this or that priest's personality cult or agenda.
I try to live my spiritual life as if I am in solitary confinement in a gulag. I wage a constant war against depression, sadness, anxiety, fear. My only real help comes from the Rosary and a prayer to Our Lord, Jesus, Help Me!, found in my old Fr. Stedman missal. I'll post it later on the thread for prayers and devotions. Hopefully, it will help others in similar circuмstances. I KNOW there have to be others, but I've not found them.
