CathMomof7, yes - for doing their duty these priests have been treated badly, including Fr. Libietis and others (think of Fr. Fox, Girouard , Bishop Williamson, etc.)  - let's storm heaven for them, and at the same time give tdhem what support we can here.  It's been stated before when the SSPX expells a priest they leave them with nothing.  So far that has not been disputed by the SSPX.

BTW:  They are starting adult catechism at our parish after at least a year w/out.  Do you think our posts make a difference?

Uh oh.  Adult Catechism is leading to something else?  Is adult Cathechism leading to the big sell out?

We watched "40 Years of Fidelity:  The history of the SSPX..not once but twice.

I believe that Bishop Fellay and Father Rostand and maybe others have been severely brainwashed or have accepted the "Silver".   We need to deprogram them.  Say some prayers for these lukewarm and those of NO too.

Also, the brave priests and of SSPX-SO thank you for being real Catholic Priests.

We aren't "trads" we are Roman Catholics.

  • To kick priests out with nothing is not very Christ like and goes to prove that Bishop Fellay is in error.  Father Rostand might end up in anger management just like the many novus ordo priests who were met with resistance.

It is sad, but our posts infuriates  them.  They act like they are possessed by the devil.

It seems that when anyone is in power or in charge of anthing for a long time, people abuse their power.  Bishop Fellay should have been replaced back at General Chapter meeting.  Also, Bishop Williamson should have been allowed to attend and discuss his situation.  Isn't that the purpose of a Chapter meeting??

We must pray for everyone.  Even we the faithful need prayers.

I'm tired.  Good Night and God bless you all.

    Ref: Canonical monitory letter
                                                                                            +June 20, 2012

    Dear Father Hewko,

I received and read your letter trying to clarify what happened on June 17, 2012. You admit yourself that you agreed in “not saying anything directly about the agreement between Bishop Fellay and Rome.” You also say that in “good faith” you believe that you did not break this word.

The reality is that your sermon was a long explanation why we should not make any agreement with Rome and your conclusion is that a recognition of the Society in the actual situation of the Church is not morally possible.

The faithful who listened to your sermon, as well as the priests, understood that you disagree with the position of our General Superior on this matter. I asked you the day before on June 16, 2012 not to make public such a statement; you gave me your word and you objectively did not keep it. I am not judging your intentions or your “good faith” but simply the objective reality of what you said and the consequences of your actions.

To remedy this situation, you will need to do the following within the next ten (10) days:
          *   Write a letter to the General Superior with copy to me, expressing your apologies for
taking this stand publicly, and promising that you will keep yourself from doing it in
                the future.
          *    Until this letter and promise is received and accepted, you are forbidden to preach under
                any circumstances.

To help you pray over this situation and receive graces, I also ask you to follow this specific instruction:
          *    I remove the authorization to hold your summer camp. Instead, and as a penance for the
scandal you have caused, I ask you to spend two weeks at the monastery of Silver City, to
                meditate and pray.

I have the duty to present to you, by the present canonical monitory letter, a solemn monition reminding you of your obligations as a cleric, and especially as a priest, especially your obligation to show reverence and obedience to your legitimate superiors (Canon 127-CIC 1917).

According to canon law you have the possibility to appeal this monition within the next ten (10) days.

I hope and pray that you will amend yourself and submit to these requirements.

With my prayers and blessing in the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

    Father Arnaud Rostand
District Superior of the United States of America

Then according to canon law then why [don't] rapists, child [molesters], [thieves], pedophiles, [homosexuality] of clergy etc bother Father Rostand?  It [seems] that something like false obedience is more of a concern which truly Justifies Father Hewko's actions to protect the Catholic Faith.

    Good question.

But those things don't seem to bother B16 very much, either, or else he would
be doing something about it, right?  One would hope so.  (Shades of +Fellay)

Therefore, Fr. Rostand must be taking a stand of complicity with these
Modernist errors, the "Grand Sewer of all heresy,"  in order to fall in line with
+Fellay's new agenda, a policy of compromise.

Compromise in the Church... Hmmm... Where have we heard that before???

"...The work of the devil will infiltrate the Church in such a way that one
will see ... the Church will be full of those who accept compromise and
the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the
service of the Lord.  The demon will be especially implacable against souls
consecrated to God.  The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause
    of my sadness..."

We aren't "trads" we are Roman Catholics.

Fr. Hector Bolduc purchased millions of dollars worth of real estate all over
America and set up SSPX parishes, including St. Mary's, KS and Winona, MN.
And what did he get for that?  Unceremoniously kicked out with nothing, that's
what.  But he kept on going, providing the Mass and sacraments to those who
needed him, and even with terminal cancer continued saying Mass, from Maine
to Minnesota, and died with his boots on.  He never complained about his
expulsion, and never complained about his painful and terminal disease that
made it almost impossible for him to breathe.

I'm sorry, I find it bewildering that so many are thinking this is something new.

In 1973, just after Roe vs. Wade consecrated child sacrifice to the devil as
an official satanic ritual in the United States,  Fr. Frederick Schell was ordered
under "obedience" to distribute Holy Communion in the Hand.  He respectfully
declined.  He gave a sermon to that effect, telling his faithful that "this well
may be my last sermon here in this church."  He was correct.  On May 27th
this year, on Pentecost Sunday, Fr. Pfeiffer gave a sermon in the Philippines
that lasted over an hour.  He said the same words, "...my last sermon..." and
    he too was correct.

This is nothing new.  Fr. Schell was unceremoniously "thrown out" on the
street, and they took away his pension, his salary, his car, his health insurance,
his permission to enter, they took away everything.  And it was only because
the faithful sought him out looking for the Traditional Canonized Latin Mass
that he was able to continue practicing his priesthood.  His flock grew with the
spread of the word, and at its peak he was saying Mass on a regular schedule
from Carlsbad to Bakersfield, and from Ventura to Tustin.  It's an area of
roughly 15,000 (fifteen thousand) square miles.  How he was able to be in
all those places on a tight schedule is beyond my comprehension.  But he put
a LOT of miles on his car.  It takes 3 full time priests to keep up with his
schedule.  After an artificial aorta operation, the surgeon gave him 10 years
to live.  He kept saying Mass for 13 years, and died peacefully at home, as
he was walking from one room to another, a catastrophic aneurism got him.
He died with his boots on, and never complained about his circulation
problem or his unceremonious expulsion from the archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Do you want more stories?  There is no shortage of stories.

Fr. Gommar de Pauw, Fr. Paul Trinchard, Fr. Paul Wickens, Fr. Alfred Jospeh Kunz,
martyr, Fr. Joseph Melito, Fr. Patrick Perez, Fr. Stephen Galambos, Canon Gregorius
    Hesse, etc., etc.

Now, Fr. Pfeiffer is embarking on a WORLDWIDE Mass project, with Fr.  Chazal,
Fr. Hewko, Fr. Ringrose, Fr. Voigt, and some 25 others.  Okay, it's a bigger scale,
but it's the same principle.  Bringing the Mass to people who ask for it over
    impossibly large distances.
