  • A contact from the Philippines sent me these pictures from the visit of Bishop Williamson to post on my page. Remember to pray for our Catholic brethren in the Philippines that Our Lord light their path and the Blessed Virgin guide them in patience and perseverance.

We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

  • This was not his first visit. He visited one other time since the crisis in the SSPX came about.

  • Good to see that Fr. Picot is out of hospital and back to his duties. Prayers he suffers no future relapse.

  • It is with great honor to be with these fighting men very high up in the mountains and to talk and learn from them personally. I find His Lordship to be very witty, objective with a good sense of humor, concerned, sober, and "niece" (he would have laughed at that one).  :laugh1:

  • Perhaps they were very tired from discussing which 'pope' to "Recognise and resist" ?
Where's Fr. Kramer ? He might have some stimulating thoughts on ' sede-resignationism / dual papism ' .
On the other hand, when Benedict dies; does mean that Francis will then somehow become the defacto legitimate pope Or will there be ( shock horror ) a state of sedevacante ?

  • Perhaps not Nick. Perhaps you're taking things out of context. For the record, they were discussing reign of Charles II of England. I would I know? I was there. They weren't "very" tired. More discussions and q and a came from me and a benefactor for another 2-3 hours. Nasty business you got there. Very "Christian".

    What a  :jester:
"It is impious to say, 'I respect every religion.' This is as much as to say: I respect the devil as much as God, vice as much as virtue, falsehood as much as truth, dishonesty as much as honesty, Hell as much as Heaven."

  • Well master " thebloodycoven",

You don't get any bonus points for Not addressing the issues raised.

Let's try again shall we ?

Perhaps he ( his Lordship ) had his eyes closed due to a sudden attack of nausea; as he started to understand that he was witnessing the metastasis of the Pfeiffer-ville 'logic' and its associated cultism even unto the southern hemisphere. ?

  • Exactly! I'm afraid the issue here is His Lordship's visit to support a Resistance seminary impoverished and high up on the mountains with priests living up for the future of the Catholic Faith. The issue here is not your polemics or any of those of the RnR, sede, indult, et al. It's is simply to appreciate the huge amount of effort made by these priests to suffer and live the faith. That's it.

Why not instead of using that keyboard of yours come visit them in the rugged mountains and join them in prayer and their day to day life and surviving the Catholic life as propagated by the founding saints and their orders/congregations. Ask Fr. Chazal and Bishop Williamson yourself about their views and your views.

  • Pity they have to visit the jungles and mountains in order to rescue the Church. The Catholic plains of Europe are now unattended while churchmen fight over the institutional wreckage. We are long past pinning our hopes on these churchmen. The man who does more for the Church is more important than a selection of delinquent popes and prelates. Or maybe it will be a woman in this age of women!

Young fellow, I know my duty of state, I have known it for almost thirty years.
How about yourself ? I notice that your profile at a certain trad. Catholic site still lists you as saying " looking for a wife as soon as possible ". Perhaps you might like to get your own life in order, or at least update your status to " mountain top groupie ".
Perhaps using the same moniker there " thebloodycoven" at a singles site has caused some concerns ?
I am quite acquainted with Fr. Chazal's views, having enjoyed his company on several occasions here in Australia . I testify him to be a really entertaining speaker and dinner companion.
Of course he knows that I find Fr. Chekada's views on a particular matter to be more logical and consistent than  his own.
Having said that, I actually wish him and Fr.Picot ( also, another excellent priest known to myself ) well in their enterprises. They are an important part of the traditional catholic movement, particularly in their resistance to the modernizers and Rome reconcilliaristas within the sspx. They just need to work out exactly to whom they are "Una cuм" with.
Fr. Kramer's history of some rather bizarre theories concerning this have been counterproductive and have caused some in AustralAsia to spit off and to support the Pfeiffer cult.
Whilst I myself will no longer attend Una cuм Masses, I know where I came from, and I care for my friends still within the R. & R. Camp who are being hurt by these particular developments.
The problem here is his, and yours, refusal to acknowledge the contradictions involved in having Fr. Kramer teaching at the "Bamboo Seminary".
I appreciate these priests efforts, but don't turn off your brain ! Don't repeat the mistakes of the group associated with Frs. Pfeiffer and Hewko. Don't fall into a cult-like mentality ( either on a Pablo run compound, or on a mountain top ). You may ignore reality, but you will be unable to continue to ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.

  • More ad hominems. One thing I agree with in your comment is that I have to update certain things. I'm having a very great life with having Our Lord to entrust me such a beautiful responsibility. BUT such comment does only mislead others. The issue here is to simply appreciate these priests! That's it. You don't have to drag my profile in a "trad Catholic" site here. How despicable! But it does not serve your cause. Using my picture of those in the seminary to advance your sedevacantist polemics by taking the picture of these prelates out of context is but a cheap shot. How "Christian!

By the way, I think it's high time you turn on your brain and bring these polemics of yours in a different subtopic.
