  • Does this mean Catholics are not to avail themselves to modern medicine even for the morally-permissible ones? This is opening a can of worms!

If I undestand the quote correctly, then it's referring to taking medicines that are morally impermissible.  I believe that the antecedent of the term "that end" is living in conformity with the precepts of the Lord.

  • So, 4 pages in, and nobody can prove Fellay has visited a country requiring the jab.

    Slop thread should be deleted.

The priest in the OP SPREADING UNSUBSTANTIATED RUMORS should be ashamed of himself.

His message is presumption from start to end.

    He should know better.

If he’s going to say something like that, he should give specifics, so we can at least verify it’s true (what country did he visit, when, and then link to the passport requirements).

    Is that so hard?

Pretty much every country requires the jab for travelling to.  I hardly think it can be doubted that +Fellay travels outside is home country.  It's probably quite likely that he took the jab.  But it's unknown which one he took, since many of the non-ATV jabs are available in parts of Europe, and some of those are non-mRNA.  If he took ones of those, I'd have no real issue with it.

  • The SSPX leadership has promoted the jab as an act of charity. The local priests in the US at least are almost all against it. Since Fellay is among the leadership who say the taking the jab is an act of charity, it is reasonable to assume that he has taken it, even if we can not be certain, because he has no moral objection to it and it would make his life far far easier.

    Total nonsense.

There are many countries which require no covid passport (see list in follow-up post below).

But that doesn't matter, because the best the slanderers can do is PRESUME Fellay MUST be traveling to some country where it is required.

Yet not a single shred of evidence to back it.

Save me your feelings, instincts, and presumptions, and give me your EVIDENCE.

If you can't provide any, it might be well to reflect upon why that is.

  • Save the conjecture, and give me the EVIDENCE.
I am not trying to prove anything. I have not seen the evidence because Fellay to my knowledge has not said if he took it or not. So I do not say for sure either way. All I have is the SSPX articles that came down from above (from the nest he is a big bird in) that said the vax was okay and even an act of charity. So if it is an act of charity, it seems most likely that he has taken it if that is what he believes. If he has taken it he must know that most of the priests and laity are against him. And if he has not, perhaps he fears retribution from the world or the big donors. So either way he has good reason to keep it secret.
