The Casualties of Battle

The Catholic Church was made by God and is there for the world; for a Beacon of Light, Mercy, Sanctification, Doctrine, and in all, for the True Faith.  As it is written in Hebrews 11:6, “Without Faith it is impossible to please God.”

Over time through the many battles and wounds She has received, She had survived.  However, there has been one battle with Modernism that had marred Her so badly, that it has made Her so disfigured and “unrecognizable”; like Christ on the Cross.

Modernism is cunning and vicious!  Yet, God allows this in His Will; like He has done for those attacks against His Son on the Cross.

The “Visible” Catholic Church in this world that held that Beacon of Light, has been battled-down and succuмbed by the infectious disease of Modernism.  She no longer “visibly” shines; nor converses that Mercy, Sanctification, Doctrine, and in all, the True Faith.

Has the Catholic Church failed?  No says our Lord; “And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18).

So what fell?  It is the Human part of the Catholic Church that was deceived; not the Divine part of the Catholic Church; She shines ever so clear…for those who want to see it.

Like the cunning demonic attack, modernism, "the synthesis of all heresies" says St. Pope Pius X, has over time through the Human part, conscientiously perversed all forms of Truth visibly with Her: The Holy Mass, the Sacraments, Morality, ecclesiology, Catholic Discipline, Canon Law, and Catholic Prayers, etc., as those soldiers had done to our Lord on the Cross.

As the Human part is in a battled-down state, they lost their eyes to see.  They now influence others to blindly follow the errors of modernism and chant new beliefs from the official organs; which they call themselves the conciliarists.

So what really was the casualty in that battle?  Was it because they got to close to modernist errors?

There are also many other examples over the years on how Her Religious orders succuмbed one after the other to the same modernism and perversed their Doctrines; even the 9-other “Traditional” groups that, somehow in God’s preserving Grace, lasted for this long; yet fell.

Then, another bastion like the SSPX who is in battle against modernism had also succuмbed to modernism.  What happened?  What really was the casualty in that battle?  Was it because they too got to close to modernist errors?  Like putting your finger in the mouth of a snake, you will get bit?

What about the followers of the SSPX; have they all fallen too?  No, not all.  However, we have started to hear that familiar new chant of modernism coming from the official organs.  So much so, that it follows right in line with the same fight we have with the conciliarists.  OBEY…it is the Authority that is right; along with a heavy hand.  Same fight.  As well as, like the conciliarists, and now the SSPX, they do NOT answer any questions based on the True Doctrine; their followers alike do the same; just distract, get emotional, personalize everything, make extremes, build straw-man arguments, then start denying…  Why?  Anything, any excuse to throw off the question(s); another casualty of battle.

So what really was the casualty in that battle?  Was it because they got to close to its errors?

The true casualty of battle was the conscience; Pride had battled-down the will. The will was lost in the battle.  From then on, everything turned into an excuse for hidden “human” gains.  

Yet, the opposite is also true.  Humility redeems the will…then there will be conversions.
