Today was my 4th SSPX mass and I want to say thanks.

I do not often meet people who are serious about their Catholic faith, and who endeavor to save souls, but at the SSPX in Athlone I have found such people. The encouragement I draw from their faith makes me feel more secure with my own and less fearful of the world. There is strength in numbers. So today when I got home after mass I got a lot of work done which I had been putting off for a while. I had grown lazy in my work because of a habit of indulgence, but thanks to experience of an atmosphere in which the deepest desires of my soul are spoken of vocally by others, I suddenly got a spur of enthusiasm for doing works, and I enjoyed a great peace.

Thank you all who are from the SSPX.
I will be back. Meeting them helps me put a human face on the posts I read on Cathinfo.
I can only hope that zeal to defend tradition will not have you abandon this respectable group.

Thank you, Soulguard, for this beautiful testimonial to the spiritual medicine that can be found at a SSPX chapel. The true holy Mass is the Mass and there is no reason to cut ourselves off from it. I would like to join you in thanking the Society of St. Pius X and her priests and religious for the blood, sweat and tears they have suffered for us (sometimes not so) faithful, for these many long years. They have given up family, comforts of all kinds, and some have even died so that we might save our souls.

May God bless the SSPX and may Our Holy Mother protect them from all evil.
