  • The local parish, thank God, is run by Franciscans not Jesuits..A Latin High Mass was offered yesterday. Haven't seen Fr. Christian give anyone Communion in the hand and there are NO altar girls.

  • It is NOT good for man, yet a priest, to live alone.

Genesis 2:18Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

18 And the Lord God said: It is not good for man to be alone: let us make him a help like unto himself.

I have thought that the SSPX priests lived in community as an admonition to the warning that men should not live alone. For, it is not so much the loneliness of being alone, but the temptations that being alone brings eventually to the priest.

satan will surely tempt the "alone" priest with opportunities that the priest in community or a priory setting will not be exposed to so much. The community of priests provides a community bond that will not be present if the priest is "living alone".

Practicalities aside, any movement to allow priests to be by themselves in a living arrangement is evil in its design.  It sets up the priest to fall due to the temptations that will certainly befall any man alone in life, as they and we do not live in a vacuum. satan is there to take advantage of any opportunity to deceive and destroy.

SSPX priests, why would your leadership set up a fellow priest to such a dastardly arrangement. Is this yet another example the SSPX leadership has lost their way and is operating in the flesh and not the spirit?
