There is a certain accidental but unitive aspect to the CCCC thread which pleases me, which is derived from its great utility for all camps except those desiring legal unity with modernist Rome.
I have been made aware that the thread is being promoted not only on Resistance sites aligned with the four bishops (eg., Tradcatresist, MCSPX Facebook, Cathinfo), but also by those Resistance sites which have traditionally expressed opposition to one degree or another (eg., The Catacombs, EcclesiaMilitans, Fr. Hewko’s newsletter, etc).
Because of both the broad appeal and unitive force of the CCCC thread, I have been persuaded by a Resistance priest to allow it to be published in a heavily edited and fortified book form (including table of contents, preface, introduction, and epilogue, in addition to substantial reformatting).
The final edited manuscript should be completed at the end of the month, and turned over to the priest in question at that time for publication and distribution.
The book will be titled:
“As we are?”
(100+ Compromises, Changes, and Contradictions of an SSPX in Pursuit of a Practical Accord)
It will be published in my own name.
Update:
All that remains to be done is to receive the Introduction from a guest contributor (3 weeks or less), then assign page numbers in the Table of Contents, and the manuscript is completed.
Formatting/layout, however, remains a challenge to overcome (uploading a trial draft into Amazon.com revealed a number of "errors" which they will require to be corrected before the book can go to production, and as I do not have the skill to make the requisite edits, I will likely need to find an editing service for layout/formatting.
Because of all this, I am anticipating t least another month before any books can be printed.
If anyone can recommend editing/formatting services, it would be much appreciated.
