Dear friends and benefactors,

Our Benedictine sisters live on a modest plot of land, in two rather poor houses. They lack a real cloister as well as the material conditions of a contemplative life.

Despite this, they face all these difficulties with great courage and behave like true daughters of our blessed father Saint Benedict, living poorly, facing what poor people face in the countryside: lack of a car, problems with wells, leaks, cold in winter (because it's cold in Fribourg and the houses have no protection against the cold and heat in summer). They have endured all the inconveniences of this situation without abandoning contemplation.

So that they can carry on with their lives and their work - building a wall for the cloister, improvements to the houses, chapel projects, new cells and cloisters, as well as buying a car and various daily necessities - they need your help.

That's why, on their behalf, we've come to ask for your charity on their behalf.

Rest assured that they will not forget you in their prayers, and above all our Lord will not forget you. He who said: "Whatever you do to the least of these, you do to me".

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped us, and particularly those who helped us with the expenses for the trip to Candeias for the ordinations.
