I do not understand the [resistance].  I see no proof of any of the accusations made against the SSPX.  Do you have concrete facts?

Dear Deryk,

Whatever your position is or may become on this or indeed any other issue, you need to approach it in some capacity other than a house plant expecting to be fed. Given that there are literally hundreds of threads under every header at this site alone, all waiting for your examination and many chock full of links to external sites and sources of information, you have absolutely no call expecting people to drop everything simply to bring you up to date on a matter and a dispute whose well-docuмented roots go deep and extend far back in time.

The only excuse you might have for demanding that others do the heavy lifting for you is that you are under thirteen years of age and unable to turn a computer on without assistance. Is that how things stand?

Welcome to the debate, of course, but please expect to be treated as if you were a grown-up so long as you fail to confine your comments to the Immature and Proud of It subsection (aka Teen Catholic Hangout).

Perhaps if you took a little time and reviewed the material that has been posted, you will come to understand.

Another alternative is to go here:
www.therecusant.com

Nicely organized. Easy to follow.

Yes, you need to do the research.  AS BrJoseph said, The Recusant is a good resource.  Lots of Reference Materials at this link (click on the underlined word), and articles here.

CathInfo has a pinned thread, Collection of Resistance Writings.

Another resource is Fr. Girouard's website.

There are some good websites in French & Spanish, if you understand either of those.

Lastly, if you are still not convinced after reading some of this docuмentation, maybe you need to read old docuмents from the SSPX on what they used to teach.

e.g. Bishop Fellay, as he was

Deryk,

I would also point you to this additional site which presents a well organized approach to the information.  The site doesn't seem to be as up to date as The Recusant, but still is loaded with historical docuмentation you seek.

This post should not be seen separate from Deryk's other
post
, for the two of them may be all any of us ever see of
Deryk, so far, the two-post wonder-er:

Quote from: Deryk [i
also[/i]]Can someone please help me?  Where is there any proof of the following statement?  "[... We do not accept, in any way, shape or form, the heretical promises of] Bishop Fellay to the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith which he made last April 15th, in order to get a deal with Rome," Father said. "To sell one's soul to the devil, just to reach a practical agreement, is a grave, grave sin."

"Sell one's soul to the devil"???

I don't understand.

Maybe Deryk has never heard of someone selling his soul to the
devil.  Maybe Deryk has never read any of the docuмents.  But
it looks as though Deryk is not very comfy with these topics, and
therefore shies away from them so that he can continue to say
that he's confused.  That, after all, is the way it is with many.

"...for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to
destruction, and many there are who go in thereat" (Matt. vii. 13).

And again, in Luke xii. 22-30:

22  And he went through the cities and towns teaching, and making his journey to Jerusalem. 23  And a certain man said to him: Lord, are they few that are saved? But he said to them: 24  Strive to enter by the narrow gate; for many, I say to you, shall seek to enter, and shall not be able. 25  But when the master of the house shall be gone in, and shall shut the door, you shall begin to stand without, and knock at the door, saying: Lord, open to us. And he answering, shall say to you:  I know you not, whence you are. 26  Then you shall begin to say:  We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27  And he shall say to you:  I know you not, whence you are:  depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28  There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29  And there shall come from the east and the west, and the north and the south;  and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30  And behold, they are last that shall be first;  and they are first that shall be last.

And behold, they are last, the Resistance, that shall be first;
and they are first, the heretics of Menzingen, that shall be last.

Deryk has the same problem the Apostles had when they first
heard these words from Our Lord, and it scandalized them:  What?
that we shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and all the
prophets, in the kingdom of God, and we, ourselves thrust out?

What?  And there shall come from the east and the west, and the
north and the south - THE RESISTANCE?!?! - FOREIGNERS?!?! -
and shall sit down in the kingdom of God?!?!

"We don't understand," they said to Our Lord.

And He taught them......
