hugeman -  You missed my point.  Maybe everyone else did, too?  After all that you so eloquently docuмent, it seems a bit much to get upset over an entirely predictable self-pitying sentence from the rector.  If we're going to get worked up, it should be over the souls that are being harmed, not by Fr. le Roux's pity-party.  That's all.  I was referring to Matthew's comment, not to the actions of Bishop Fellay and company, and certainly not to any of the religious of the Resistance.

"Summer News"

Quote from: Fr. Le Roux
Please have also the kindness to support us with your material sacrifices. As our seminarians are not angels, their appetite is in direct proportion to their youthful energy... We wholeheartedly thank you for your aid, which does not fail, in spite of the lies told against our dear Society.

Lies, huh?

How about your allegation that lies are told against "your" dear Society.  You call that the truth?

In other words,

Quote from: St. John Chapter 18
[22] And when he had said these things, one of the servants standing by, gave Jesus a blow, saying: Answerest thou the high priest so? [23] Jesus answered him: If I have spoken evil, give testimony of the evil; but if well, why strikest thou me?

These lies you speak of, let's get specific (for a change), shall we? Rather than more generalized slander and propaganda against the just Resistance to you and your superiors' Novus Ordo sellout.

I tried to find Summer News newsletter from Fr. LeRoux on the SSPX website and the last one posted is April 2013 on the Seminary web site.  I presume then this particular and possibly the last few were sent by mail and not posted on the SSPX web site.

Would someone be so kind to post the letter here so all could read it, possibly by scanning it for posting.  If it IS online, where can we find it?

I don't know, Nicholas. I don't get that rag mailed to me--i
Stopped donating to the Novus Ordo long ago, and that's
all the SSPX seminaries are now. What chapel do you go to? They
May well have a copy of the letter in the vestibule, or in the literature
rack. (They are blowing through cash, so the Rector has bulk
Copies sent to most of the chapels to get fresh contributors). Or, you could call Winona and they'll send it out, I'd imagine (and with your address he and Rostand can hit you up
every month!). One good thing about Frs. LeRoux and Rostand
needing so much money-- they are forced to tell us SOMETHING, if only to beg for cash! It's almost too bad they didn't join Rome-- because then they'd have to
issue finsncial statements like all the Novus Ordo parishes do!

Gee, if they can't tell the truth about what they do Monday through Saturday,
can you just imagine what colorful tales would be told regarding
the Sunday offerings?
