Update: according to my source, St. Joseph's in San Antonio will be getting a priest from Arizona.

So it's either:

Fr. Frank Riccomini: Prior and Headmaster

Fr. Daniel Chavarria: Assistant

I'll let you know when I confirm who it is.

Update: It's Fr. Daniel Chavarria.

From what I understand, he is not as foreign as his name suggests. He's an American. Whatever Spanish he has is "rough", which also suggests he doesn't have an accent.

He is also quite young; ordained in February 2012 by Bishop Fellay in St. Mary's, KS.

Other than this, I know nothing about him.

Fr. Daniel Chavarria is a prize to whoever gets him. He has no accent. He was a priest at my chapel in Michigan after his ordination, I've been to his Masses and went to him for confession, I can say that his Masses were celebrated beautifully, his sermons were excellent and in confession, his council was staunchly Catholic.

Additionally, our Prior, Fr. John Brucciani and Fr. James Haynos are leaving St. Joseph's in Mi sometime in August. Fr. Brucciani is heading to Missouri. He said that because he was able to bring us out of near bankruptcy, that he is going to be in charge of restoring all SSPX chapels that need his particular talents.

I can't remember the name of the priest he said was replacing him, but currently, he is the school principal in St. Mary's Kansas.

I understand why the re-assignments of the superiors in the SSPX would be very newsworthy, but why all the interest with the re-assignment of priests serving various chapels?  Are these re-assignments demonstrating a pattern or some problem?  I note that I see a lot of talk about younger priests being re-assigned to various locations and duties, but what is happening with the older priests whose positions are apparently being taken by these younger priests?  Perhaps this topic is telling me but I don't know SSPX priests by name so I'm not able to catch the significance.

I also find it puzzling.  Perhaps it is akin to someone keeping up with the latest actions of an "ex" rather than just moving on.

i did not change rites, though church permits it west to east not west to east.

my studies were in eastern rites and theology

the tagling pere is from the hymn to Our Lady on Good Friday used by antiochean rites

Fr Gardner will be a good addition to any chapel.  He was an assistant priest at St Mary's Assumption in St. Louis.
