Is this for sure?  Fr. Kurtz was transferred from St.  Louis only one year ago to Queen of Angels in Dickinson.  To return him after only one year to a former assignment would be extremely unusual, if not unheard of.

I'm not sure what Capt McQ's point was.

I think he meant that "at some point in the past" he was posted to St. Louis, and that's why he knows him.

I also doubt Fr. Kurtz is being moved anywhere. He was just transferred to Houston last year. I was just pointing out that quite a bit of change has been happening in SSPX chapels in Texas in the last couple years.

I've not heard of any changes at the Phoenix chapel but will keep my ears open.

Fr. Leo Haynos (ordained about 2 years ago) to become Prior of St.Louis, MO

Fr. Patrick Rutledge to become head of (boys?) High School in St. Mary's KS

Fr. Jordan Fahnestock (ordained 2009) to become Prior of Armada, MI.

Fr. Daniel Themann (ordained 2009) to be appointed rector of Australian seminary.

Fr. Frank Riccomini (ordained 2007) is already prior of Phoenix, AZ.

The theme is YOUNG BLOOD TAKES THE REINS OF POWER.

All these young pup sspx "priors."  I don't get it.  Do they not have enough priests of mature years who can hand these prior assignments?  Or maybe it is that these 'boys' can be more easily manipulated and controlled by headquarters.  I think the first order of business for sspx ought to be: Get all youthful priors out of here, especially the French ones.  Paul told Timothy not to allow the faithful to despise his youth.  But these are not 'Timothys' whom we're talking about here.  These are callow youths.  We've been in Immaculate Conception Church in Post Falls, ID.  We know how a youthful prior can screw things up fast.
