What a joke.  "Holy Father, I know you hate our guts and call us breeding rabbits, but may we please consecrate five of six bishops?"

 ... where to start?  As if Jorge isn't totally involved with the next steps in the plan.  Episcopacy is to "reward people"?  Unbelievable.

He is surely involved but each Pope has his own style of dealing with the SSPX. Just look how differently the last three acted towards them.

I am not sure I understand what you mean. Do you think that it is not in line with the SSPX leaders' attitude to reward people that they consider important with the episcopal dignity? It sound perfectly plausible to me, even though it is absurd.

Here's the source:

The video has been taken down indeed.

This blog belongs to a Resistance priest. Fr. Trincado, if I am not mistaken. A Chilean priest.

Quote
“¿Cuántos obispos van a ser? Y, cuatro o cinco”
“¿De qué edades? Entre 35 y 50”
“¿Cuándo? La gran pregunta es esa... no lo tomen como oficial... 2026 más o menos”
“¿Hay que pedir permiso a Roma? Sí, hay que pedir permiso a Roma”

Translation (mine):

Quote
“How many bishops is it going to be? Four or five”
“How old? Between 35 and 50 years old”
“When? This is the big question... don't take it as official... 2026 more or less”
“Do you have to ask Rome for permission? Yes, we have to ask Rome for permission”

Bishop Paul Robinson

Yeah, you need at least one openly Modernist bishop in the neo-SSPX.

I was thinking they would stretch it out a bit, wait for Huonder to ordaine one or two priests, and then consecrate the Huonder ordinand to create chaos.  But God took Huonder out of the equation.
